I've watched the documentary and l'm shocked at their openness. I think Megham seems like a genuinely nice person but this clearly isn't the life for her.

Ironic the number of people that drew on the last time an American married into the royal family wh were shot down. It is very different circumstances but it feels to me there is a good chance this isn't going to end well.

I always considered princess Diana's discussion of her bulimia part of bringing awareness to mental health but maybe that's not considered here?

I've always thought that was a massive dig at the royals not helping her adjust to royal life and letting PC carry on with Camilla behind her back. There are similarities with M clearly not adjusting well.

It has been reported that Her Majesty and Prince Charles have gone out of their way to make the Duchess of Sussex welcome. It took a long time for the Duchess of Cambridge to be invited to Christmas for example. Prince Charles even walked the Duchess of Sussex down the aisle so I don’t know how much more they could do. I wonder if they are raging with her for how things have declined.

Have they declined? I see much ado about nothing

I think M set her personal standard up way too high and then got really discouraged when things didn't work the way she assumed they would . Hollywood and the Royal Family are two different worlds. I compare this saga to Romeo and Juliet. Best advice ever for H and M would be is to ignore the press and work on themselves . They need to realize that at the end of the day they can not change everything they want to change. They need to focus on their love and their child.

I don’t know if this would ever happen but the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not Archie’s legal guardians Her Majesty is so they can’t just take him and move abroad without for good without her agreeing to it.

Respectfully... Not sure this would hold up in a U.S. court. Under the US birthright law, Archie is entitled to US citizenship. Could this be the reason H &M chose no title for him?

Could this be one of the reasons for the visit?

I liked MM in the beginning, but moving to a new country with objectives to change the royal family has given me a different feeling.

I can see she loves being in front of a camera. It is her chosen career.

This US trip to visit granny is going to cost the US tax payers a small fortune. As, her trip to NYC for the baby shower did. Local police, Secret Service will be I full force trying to protect these three.

Prince Harry and ITV's Tom Bradby agreed on what he would say BEFORE filming interview for documentary that fuelled further criticism of him and Meghan Markle

  • Tom Bradby says he 'found a couple that seemed a bit bruised and vulnerable'
  • Says he 'hopes they take a deep breath and think pretty hard about the future'

IMO MM doesn't like NOT being the STAR getting ALL the attention and people kissing up to her. She was a B actress, not A List. Yes, she was on a TV show, I'd never heard of her. I think she thought she'd be more like Princess Grace, leaving acting to be a royal. That was a different time and different place.. and Grace had CLASS. MM comes off to me as a 'me me me' person. I think she married H to further HER agenda, to use the publicity to fund/promote HER charities , but without doing the 'rest' of what comes with being a royal. She wanted the GOOD/Royal Treatment, but didn't want to take the 'everyday' with it. Now she's become a complainer, a whiner and keeps pushing HER agenda. Its not about HER any longer. She has a ROYAL baby (good move, btw) and works for her HUSBANDS country. If they move to the US, Harry will go back to partying, Megan will drop baby with mom or nannies, and it will be a 'hollywood' marriage. Then he'll get tired of it, and go back home... ALONE. JMO...

Respectfully.. Not sure she was a B list actress. She left the US because folks knew she was trouble. She couldn't make a career on the US even with the help of her father and his friends.

Once her fathers money ran out, she ditched him. He paid for private school and she lived with TM while in worked in TV. He took her to the set, introduced her to celebrities.

MOO, she's a social climber, ditched her father, ditched her family, ditched her friends, ditched her first husband, and ditched her country.

I hope she stays in the UK, she's to high maintenance and way to expensive. Being British royalty, we are required to provide her security. I resent my US tax payer dollar being spent on her.

MOO, I knew this was orchestrated by MM. She has a degree from Northwestern in Communications. She's driving this train. She will do anything to upstage William and Catherine!!!

We've hardly heard a word, about their trip to Pakistan, since MM started this mess.

It kinda ticks me off the royal family is paying high dollars to a PR team setting out to make the royal family look back. I had a feeling MM would be stepping up her game, when the new PR team was hired.

Charles needs to step up to the plate and cut off the money supply. I'm loosing respect for him. He's paying the bills and allowing this. Is this how he plans to lead the monarch?

Its NOT fair to William and Catherine who work very hard everyday to do the right thing.

If MM is allowed to continue I feel many of us in the US will step away from following the royal family. I know I will. To chose to allow and PAY for one son to make the other look bad and blame William for his problems is just not right!!

Come on Charles step up and put an end to this chaos.

I agree with you Simply Southern. I am also another Southerner!!!

I cannot figure out if MM is trying to style her hair like Michael Jackson, Cher or Kim K. The long dark hair parted down the middle. Of the three, I prefer that it be Cher.

And this is why her father released the letter. She painted him as 100% horrible. He made mistakes but the painted picture that M painted was that he did nothing for her. Sigh.... H should have ran but he was very lonely. M also had a problem with the pecking order. Wouldn't a person just be ecstatic that they were marrying a prince and in love and not a pecking order?

I agree, the Queen and the entire royal family have bent over backwards. Way more than they did for Catherine.

How long is the royal family going to allow Harry to play the poor Harry card? Now it seems his wife is doing the same. He appears to me as a spoiled brat.

Charles has condoned his behavior for years. If Charles can't control the royal family how is he going to be King. This may very well be the beginning of the end of the monarch's wonderful life.

We've all allowed much compensation for Harry's years of indiscretion. Poor Harry's been the by line for way to many years.

I see so this has been orchestrated to give MM the voice that's been taken away from her since she joined the RF. That explains why a couple that are constantly complaining about media intrusion let a camera follow them around.

I thought it disingenuous and actually disrespectful to Diana's legacy that MM claimed she didn't know anything about the tabloids, or that life would be "this difficult" as a royal. Considering the life Diana was left to lead, and ultimately leading to her death, how exactly does MM NOT know? SMDH. The more I see and hear her, the more sickened I am by her. I'm becoming ashamed of Harry. I understand he doesn't want this life, and was born into it. But they both have A LOT of growing up to do, they have a duty and it's time they accept it.

In other Royal news, Queen Letizia of Spain has some super gorgeous gowns for their trip to Japan for the coronations of the Japanese Emperor and Empress and a side visit to Seoul, Korea. She's pulling far ahead in the Fashion Olympics!

Eat your heart out Kate, this is one gorgeous dress !

And the one she wore for the coronation. I love the very feminine, slightly oriental floral appearance to this dress
