TY for posting this Gardenista!
Omg... we could use Prince Charles here in the USA!
Preservation is something that makes me cry. It didn’t always used to be like that. But now? Every honey bee matters.
I’m so happy William will carry the torch.
I love Prince Charles. Not for the disaster of his arranged marriage to Diana which was also a tragedy for him, but for his absolute love of this earth. This earthly world. It’s wonders sustain even the most cynical hearts.
His gift is while yes, the Duchy sustains the BRF, but how he made preservation a profit making enterprise.
I look at the crocuses. How they signal new beginnings here in New Jersey. Here we brand our famous Jersey Tomato under the umbrella of Jersey Fresh. But it’s so much more. Farm to table is down the road. There's a new wave of young peeps who absolutely know what we stand to lose.
Here we have a preservation program that protects the best soil and landscape our founding fathers, known as well to our native nations, people.
Prince Charles, his work is so close to the heart of everything that is not on the internet. His quiet but powerful contemplation of the future will be a beacon for young kids like Greta.
Here’s what I know from growing up in one of the most beautiful and ecologically diverse states is the hope that like our predecessors we find a way to sustain this beautiful earth and all that she provides us and those who care for her.
Yes, I’m a tree hugger! Much more so than a people hugger. Ha!
The pictures of Highgrove, of Prince Charles meandering through the flora and fauna remind me of how similar he is to the finest curators of our precious earth.
This thread, all that I’ve learned outside of the sensational headlines makes me want to travel, not to a museum, or a tower, but to a walk in the woods or for a visit to a farm in Wales, with Prince Charles.
