It’s quite possible IMO that this is what is behind the “stepping back.” It would be very difficult to deal with these issues while maintaining a full schedule. Time will tell, whether they will “disappear” for awhile or jump into a celebrity life as some believe they will.

Stepping back is good, though they have jumped in to various other things in a very short period of time. And with the latest surprise move that should have been done privately. I just don’t understand the judgement lapse in all of this.

Oh please stop. Not directed at you @Scrapper18.

I lost my father in a tragic way at age 5. Nooo I didn’t have to walk behind his casket, but lots of people lose parents at a young age.

I’m so sorry you lost your father so young, O4J. And I’m glad you apparently got through it without lasting trauma. Yes, lots of people lose parents at a young age. But I’m sure you can understand that people react differently to similar losses. How Harry reacts is how Harry reacts. @Scrapper and I, knowing he has spoken of the trauma, and has received professional help, are hoping he gets more help if he needs it. I’m not sure if you are expecting him to react as you did? It is not a sign of weakness or whining to speak of ones losses and need to work through them as an adult. But perhaps I am misunderstanding your post.

Funny, but not...I’m sure we will see this soon.

The evening news just reported that both of their dogs were transported to the mansion showing their secretive ‘intent’ of relocating.

You know, it's no wonder they can't keep staff and that they are unliked. Their entitlement is off the freaking charts.

Hi @Lilibet. I have suffered a life of trauma after my father died at age 26. Lost my only sister because she couldn’t stop grieving. And my mother? Well that’s another story. We can say she didn’t handle it well.

I just believe we all bear our life traumas in our own way, so I completely agree with you on that!

Peace :)

in any case, it’s always difficult to lose a parent at a young age. It affects everyone differently.

Hugs @Only4Justice. That’s a lot of trauma! I can empathize with perhaps having a little less patience with someone who seems to have had it easier. Thank you for being so open.

I don’t know if you’ve seen Anderson Cooper’s interview with Stephen Colbert last August discussing losing parents and siblings in a traumatic way. It’s well worth watching and touched my heart.

Oh dear. What a mess. The timing of this coming out with this mess reminds me of Prince Andrew... and how the crown wants nothing to do of these messes. Andrew no longer on schedules due to his embarrassment of the royal family, and now perhaps the same here?

I didn't realize that Britain had the same transparency of court goings on as we have in the states, and if EVERYTHING is going to be out there from the courts (ha! it's the sister company of the Daily Mail, so they have it all to release) this is a debacle that the suit will continue. And we thought this matter of her and her father was old news, just to be dredged back up. SMDH

Regarding Meghan’s Dad and half-siblings and the relatives on her Mom’s side, I do think it was a mistake for Harry not to meet some of them before their engagement. It helps round out a picture of the person you are in love with and who you will be dealing with. And sometimes family issues are a dealbreaker. I know it would have been hard to manage logistically and keep it private (knowing her Dad’s kids!), but it might have made things go more smoothly or given him pause...or not. It’s easy to say coulda, shoulda, woulda in hindsight. But now it’s a mess that will follow them for a long time.

BBM Fun fact of the day - royal women are not allowed to wear tiaras until they're married. I didn't realise this until Eugenie commented after her wedding "I’ve never worn a tiara before in my life. It was the most incredible thing to wear such a piece of history that my grandmother had lent me, it was a very proud moment."

Princess Eugenie's Instagram Post Shows Her Dressed Up as a Bride in Her Childhood
Loved the Instagram! Perhaps Eugene and Beatrice can be invited back into the full time fold to take on PH and MM duties?

They had a short dating relationship followed by marriage, followed by childbirth. Then apparently early on MM read all the SM, big mistake for any high profile person. I believe it stirred an ego downward spiral for her and from that point on it ruled her actions and decisions. It’s been a steady domino effect of rash behavior with no desire to be guided from within. Seems that it fueled their desire more-so to make a statement thus hiring their own PR, new staff, filing lawsuits, publicizing events and friendships with their Hollywood crowd, independent branding, holidays apart from the rest of the RF, etc. All of this while letting it be known that they feel mistreated.

One bad mistake after another...
