I don't like her, there again I am not a Royal lover. but whatever she wears it is wrong. The wrong colour/wrong fit/it wrinkles, she is not a model and I do get sick of hearing the press bleating on about her dress sense. Perhaps she does need a stylist, but having seen some stylists ideas I can well understand her not using one.
I do not care for her overly, either. She and Harry have dropped to my least favorites in the fam.
I think women are either naturals at picking out clothing that is both flattering and easy to wear, or they will make the same mistakes over and over and just not " get it".
Men don't have ALL that many style options, so the usual casual jeans or chinos, polo or shirt, or suit usually look OK to me.
What Meghan has done is something I used to do as well except for the price points: She's picked out designer clothing in ALL Natural Fabrics.
Woven Silk, Linen, Cotton, some Rayons, they all will crease very easily, especially linen and cotton UNLESS the presser starches the fabric with an invisible protective layer which doesn't make the item stiff, just wrinkle resistant.
Kate had an extremely great stylist ( except for the yellow silk dress flying up once) and she learned that wool and silk blend knitted fabrics rather than woven wear extremely well and hug her figure without being immodest. Some of her wear might even be blends with synthetic fibers, I don't know.
I used to go for that " Safari chic" look that Meghan loves ( but it was the 1980's and I lived at Banana Republic!).
Meghan needs standout JEWEL TONES. Royal blue, purple, ruby red, emerald green, the unique pink of pink tourmaline. I do not think any of the neutrals or weird stripes or prints she's picked have flattered her petite frame at all.
It would be SO easy to dress her ( when she's not pregnant) because she is slim AND small busted, and that's the way designer clothing is made to fit.
I think she and Harry should have more casual wear like jeans and shirts, sweaters ( jumpers) and casual flat boots or athleisure shoes. It's NOT like they have a ton of obligations right now.. They looked really cute and young at the first Invictus games they attended together in casual clothing!
I read today that she and Harry may have to give up their Cotswold " bolt hold" for financial reasons. OMG, how can they even claim financial difficulty?
Must be angling for upgrades to the reno going on at Frogmore Cottage. That's all I could come up with...
