I have seen this rumor in a few places, with various takes on it. I can't believe that this is true. William seems far too grounded to do this, and he was old enough to see how his Father's cheating destroyed his Mother.

Grounded or not, the artistocrats are well known for having 'flings'. William will also become the Prince of Wales once Charles is king and there has never been a Prince of Wales who did not have affairs.

If Kate thought she could 'cure' them of that, she's likely very wrong. Having a fling or six is par for the course in the upper classes (lower classes have to go to work to pay for the upper classes).

Of course, people of all classes have affairs, they just have more free time.

Oprah would be a great asset for launching a "branding" campaign. She has some fairly strong media connections, though she's not quite as popular as she once was. She has quite a few influential friends. She can help boost the brand, just not sure exactly what the "brand" accomplishes other than photo ops for charities.

There's a finite amount of money available for charitable donations. Good PR can help a charity tap into some of those funds, but it often ends up taking it away from other charities. Sometimes that's a good thing, other times it's not helpful. Pardon, but I'm still trying to discern the true value of "branding" and "cause marketing" aside from helping entrepreneurs and companies sell products to the public. It can be of value if it's doing something innovative, if it brings about systems change, if it has identified a better way to address a need in the community.

Good grief , Oprah is not friends with Meghan. I do think Oprah could really help launch the project - a very good project. Oprah definitely can make a difference. I am no Oprah fan but people will listen to her.

As far as Oprah and Meghan being friends to the point that Oprah knows the Meghan is graceful and loving - give me a break.

Sorry for not having links, but I have been doing some reading.

The Express has claimed that royal insiders have said that Meghan almost went to the hospital already as she thought she was in labour, but it turned out to be a false alert. They also said that the baby's head is engaged and Meghan has been having Braxton Hicks contractions.

The Telegraph had an article with some lovely baby photos of Harry and Meghan. Meghan looked totally cute with really curly hair framing a dear round little smiley face.

And other articles have mentioned that if the birth is at the Lindo wing, the normal procedure is to put up parking restrictions a week or two prior to the birth, and that's when we normally start seeing TV coverage of waiting photographers and members of the public camping out in anticipation of photo opps of the proud parents on the steps when they leave hospital with their babe in arms.

I wonder what signs there might be (like the parking restrictions and camped out press and public) if the Lindo isn't chosen for the birth location?

I hope you are right, and I suspect you are. I don't follow the royals real close, but they Kate and William seem like a really close couple. Plus, I think Kate is totally gorgeous!

I agree with you. I would imagine the Duke of Cambridge will be keen not to have a repetition of the problems with his own parents marriage and cause the emotional pain his Mother suffered. The Duchess of Cambridge is stunning and more importantly a nice person. I very much hope they have a long and happy marriage.

I, too, think it's false. Who would start such a rumor? Many of the tabloids will usually spread the rumor once it's started, but I don't see them creating such a terrible false story on their own. Claiming the future king of England is having affairs is a pretty serious accusation to make without proof. No tabloid would risk the serious retribution from such a false claim. JMO, the false story would have to come from someone they trusted to be giving them inside information.

True, but she could have been there on Harry's behalf. I just find it interesting that prior to the wedding we never heard about Meghan mixing with the Clooney's, Oprah or the Beckmans. Now they are all besties. THey may have mixed prior to the wedding and I missed the stories. I just find it to hard to believe all this bestie garbage. That is my opinion and it is really not worth anything. I do think the PR lady is doing job though.

There are some people out there that would say 'if Oprah says Meghan is x,y,z then it has to be true'.
Me, I don't give a hoot what Oprah says. I think the PR lady is definitely doing her job.

And if I recall correctly, Megan's mother was at her house for a few hours at one point in time. This may have been in the works for quite a while.
