I agree not long after the birth there will be the inevitable “They won’t let me see my Grandchild” story and the “How can she do this to our Father who may not have long left” story.

Speaking of which, isn't Samantha's tell-all book due out soon? Perhaps she'll send a signed copy to the new parents

The Truth About Duchess Camilla's Life Before She Ended Up With Prince Charles | Xfinity

Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall have now been married for 14 years.

They've been in love for almost 50, however, to one degree or another.

Their marriage, on April 9, 2005, started a new chapter of their epic love story but also was the culmination of a journey that easily could have gone another way, considering both married and had children with other people first—and one hails from a family that historically holds the reins rather tightly when it comes to who is considered a suitable mate for one of their own...

They were obviously meant to be together, quite sad really that both were forced into / settled for other marriages, although Camilla wasn't right (on paper) to be future Queen.

I have no doubt that if Diana was still alive she'd have moved on too, and I honestly think things would have been amicable, eventually.

I understand she has two upcoming books about her “wicked” Sister because just one isn’t slamming her enough. They are called The Diary of Princess Pushy and In The Shadows of a Duchess I suspect they will be so bad charity shops won’t be willing to take them. That’s if they ever get published. I don’t know what happened to the reality show as a camera crew filmed her in her house whilst she watched the Royal wedding.

It seems as if the ‘wicked sister’ routine has flamed out. —For now. Book reviewers can be unkind, and liability lawyers are laying in wait. Imo.

However, this story could be made into a theatrical piece as an addendum to the Cinderella story as told from the jealous sister turned revenge crusader perspective. —Decades later.

It’s a study in several of the deadly sins: greed, envy, and wrath.

The same poor souls that have to moderate the Kensington Royal account I imagine.

There is no chance of this happening Elizabeth will not be a first name there cannot be another Elizabeth Windsor which is Her Majesty The Queen’s name.

When did this become a rule? Other monarchs have had children and grandchildren with the same name?

I don’t know what the rules are I just think it will be crazy and highly unlikely to have two Elizabeth Windsor’s in the family at the same time.

The Duchess of Sussex is considering a home birth at Windsor later this month, friends have revealed.

Meghan, 37, is keen to follow in the Queen's footsteps by having a midwife-led birth at Frogmore Cottage, the new home she shares with Prince Harry on the Berkshire estate.

The Queen was born at the Mayfair home of her grandparents and gave birth to each of her four children at either Buckingham Palace or Clarence House.

Sources stressed that Harry and Meghan, who are expecting their first child within weeks, have not ruled out a hospital delivery because a woman having a baby over the age of 35 is at an increased risk of premature birth or the need for an epidural or caesarean.

DM goes above and beyond in making up stories. I am surprised they have not said Aliens will be present at the Royal birth.
It would be great if Meghan could have the baby without anyone knowing and a few days later release the news. All Harry and Meghan want is a bit of privacy with their newborn.

I agree it is like the National Enquirer you don’t take it seriously. They will do post anything for clicks and sell papers. I would love to know what the Royals really make of these news stories.

Sorry for not having links, but I have been doing some reading.

The Express has claimed that royal insiders have said that Meghan almost went to the hospital already as she thought she was in labour, but it turned out to be a false alert. They also said that the baby's head is engaged and Meghan has been having Braxton Hicks contractions.

The Telegraph had an article with some lovely baby photos of Harry and Meghan. Meghan looked totally cute with really curly hair framing a dear round little smiley face.

And other articles have mentioned that if the birth is at the Lindo wing, the normal procedure is to put up parking restrictions a week or two prior to the birth, and that's when we normally start seeing TV coverage of waiting photographers and members of the public camping out in anticipation of photo opps of the proud parents on the steps when they leave hospital with their babe in arms.

I wonder what signs there might be (like the parking restrictions and camped out press and public) if the Lindo isn't chosen for the birth location?
