There was a famous soft drink advert for a orange soft drink called Tango here in the U.K years ago which featured an orange man. People with a tan are often said to have been Tango’d because of it.

In the states, Tang was popular in the 60s when it was used by astronauts. Tang was a sickeningly sweet orange powder that was mixed with water. It had lots of vitamin C and was usually a breakfast beverage for kids.

It won't be quite as luxurious - and in no way as pricy - as the Hampshire Hotel, but DH and I look forward to next weekend at the historic Palmer House in Chicago. We stayed there once before (about 30 years ago) and have a photo of us standing on the grand staircase. Palmer House®, A Hilton Hotel, Chicago, IL | Historic Hotels of America We will see American Ballet Theatre and spend an afternoon at Art Institute of Chicago. Dinner at a nice restaurant, too.

Gawd I remember tasting that stuff. It was awful. So fake tasting.

Oh! I remember that. I think they actually sent it up with the astronauts, and the astronaut made a negative comment about the drink. It hurt the brand. Am I misremembering? I need to Google.

I do’t get it. Aren’t any of the Royal properties just as wonderful?

A Holiday Inn with a garden?

Rtbm, Bbm: Lol! Plus, the baby moon place is not that impressive, for what $15k per night? Imo.

Don’t they have castles stashed all over the place?

I do think they may have escaped while the movers were moving them into Frogmore...

Enjoy your trip. I love the Art Institute of Chicago. Last time we were there we also went to the Science and Industry museum.
