He is my spirit animal. I was asleep all day in preparation for my night shift in the ER. We will probably be stupid busy and I will miss all the Announcements and finally make it online when the kid is off to college. At least that's what those busy shifts feel like.: Neverending lol.

I'm also puzzled about this, don't recall the Palace EVER stating that anyone was 'in labour'. I recall people stating that Catherines' hairstylist/dresser had arrived at the hospital carrying outfits but not a 'labour alert'!

They don't want the whole world focussed on Meghans' labour pains, do they?? I know I've got better things to do.....seriously!

After the birth, I even wonder if the Town Crier and plaque at Buck House will happen??

IMO, with the parents wanting privacy and the child not in direct line to the throne, there may be very little for public consumption until after Harry and Meghan give the green light.

I think the Queen is sick of the whole thing, have never seen her looking so 'browned off' as she was at their wedding. She knows she cannot stop the runaway train at this point, Queen or not.

She will go out riding and let them all get on with it, IMO.

Can you imagine the tweets from the palace eg.

“The Duchess of Sussex is 5cm dialated.”

“The Duchess of Sussex is begging for the ******* drugs right now.”

“The Duchess of Sussex is now crowning.”

Thanks I've see so much online stating they would. I've never seen an announcement for going into labor before. The Queen always post and official announcement outside BP, best I remember.

The official announcement from Instagram stated it would be after they had family time.
