IIRC, the were never competitive about it before. Harry used to be very honest about not envying William his future in preparing to be king. I always had the impression Harry was happy to not be the heir and was going to enjoy living his life without that responsibility.

That seems to have changed recently according to the gossip columns. The growing divide between Harry and his wife and William and his family has been disappointing. I hope it's resolved and the brothers are able to be close again. William will be king, its a job he's been preparing for most of his life. He'll do very well.

Harry has never shown the slightest desire (rather the opposite) to the 'thone' or jealousy to Wills as heir.
It's always been quite clear to the British public he would hate it so it's most definitely not anything us commoners would be botherered to 'gossip' about.

It is pathetic how can you be so negative about the birth of a child. There is so much tragedy and misery in the world it is nice to get some good news that makes you smile for a change.

People always seem to use the children as a weapon for media attention. Negative publicity bring in more publicity. I’m not exactly a MM fan, but I am happy for the new royal baby’s birth! It’s good news compared to the sad news I see everyday!!

Yayyyyyyyy no more waiting.

I see a lot of guesses on the name but it might be possible that they go with none of them and they pick something totally out of the ordinary that has nothing to do with past royal names.. After all this baby is not next in line and Meghan is not native to the country so she might want to put her spin on a different new name.

I think that's absolutely likely.
