It is pathetic how can you be so negative about the birth of a child. There is so much tragedy and misery in the world it is nice to get some good news that makes you smile for a change.
@gregjrichards I just have to say what a wonderful heart you have It warms my soul & restores my faith in humanity
Thank you for being You! :)

I think that's absolutely likely.

Meghan has broken a few royal traditions and protocols already. So you’re probably right. She’s a firecracker. Lol

The picture is adorable but the eyes are too wide set. Both Mother and father have closed set eyes, but hey that guy is an expert and I am not.

So, the bookies have “James” as one of the top runners for a boy. Do you think Harry and Meghan would use James since Prince Edward’s son is named James?
ITA I don't think James will be the name because Prince Edward's son James, Viscount Severn, is #12 in line to the throne.

The buildup of suspense over the birth has been like waiting for the appearance of Jaws. Now the suspense over the naming, and of course waiting for photos, which will come first?

The DM must have published about 20 articles just this morning!

Longest pregnancy ever!

Hazelnutty - you win the prize for "the post closest to the birth time"! Funny to think as you pressed send at 5:25am Meghan was doing her final push - baby arrived a minute later.

Congratulations, you may choose a tiara to wear!!

I change my name from Daniel to Scott. Scott, pronounced just like it is spelled. I love one syllable names.

As a Scottish Earl, maybe Sean, or Angus, or Graham, or Cameron, or Rory, or Logan, or Lennox, or Maxwell, or Evan, or Blair, or Duncan, or Finlay, or Malcom, or Alistair, or Mungo, or Neil !

Is it that cold across the pond, that they are still having to wear coats and scarves. I am into shorts and t-shirts these days.

Now what sort of name goes well with that title, is not in current use, and is traditional while reflecting MM's and PH's tendency to be upstarts? Hmmm... Alexander is possible, but overused among royal houses. I like Oliver. Oliver, Earl of Dumbarton. :)
No royal baby will ever be called Oliver or any of the female equivalents.

Hint - who had Charles I executed?
