Wait until she finds out polo ponies are sometimes euthanized when their game-caused injuries too serious?

And, we all knew Harry hunted with his family. Why didn't Meghan??? She might have pursued a man more in line with her lifestyle choices....

JMH YMMV LRR

I think she's found a man who is in line with her lifestyle choices:

A-lister
Wealthy and well-protected
Like private planes
Likes luxury boltholes
Believes all the stuff she tells him

I’m Scottish so I don’t blame them for not coming here for a family vacation. If I could travel anywhere in the world for a holiday it would not be Scotland. I’m spoilt though I see a castle several times a week on the way to the supermarket and don’t get excited like the tourists do. Summers in Scotland usually involve high temperatures of 20 degrees, rain and being attacked by midges. It is a good thing I don’t work for the tourist board lol.

Well, I'm Scots origin, too

Here's my idea of Scotland in the summer: Dreamy !
How to spend summer in Scotland | Tatler

Perhaps someone should send this article and it's fashion tips to Markle.

William's pants look dark green to me
Yes dark green in the style of blue jeans I think - I’m sure the press will let us know if they wear jeans at Balmoral this summer

And I think this is OK with the Queen

I think it is the blue jeans - Levis that she objects to.

I wonder if this toilet will be arriving at Frogmore Cottage soon.

I wonder if this toilet will be arriving at Frogmore Cottage soon.

As we know the Sussex's chose a copper bath tub (never mind how destructive copper mining is on the environment), I think they're more likely to want a matching copper toilet.

But more to the point:
Who in charge of Blenheim Palace thought this was a good idea?

'Appalled' Prince Andrew breaks silence over Jeffrey Epstein paedophile scandal

Prince Andrew, The Duke of York, has finally broken his silence...

In a statement from Buckingham Palace, courtiers appeared to claim the Duke of York was unaware of the pervert’s crimes despite him maintaining a friendship before and after he was jailed for child sex offences.

“The Duke of York has been appalled by the recent reports of Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged crimes,” the Palace said.

“His Royal Highness deplores the exploitation of any human being and the suggestion he would condone, participate in or encourage any such behaviour is abhorrent.”

Like others on this board, I'm chosing to discuss this issue over on the Epstein board.

I'd rather keep this one for the happier side of the British Royal Family

Meghan , is definitely not dumb. She landed the jackpot and is now mixing with celebrities and entertainers. She gets to travel to very nice places, using private planes and staying at super elegant lodging. I think I am getting jealous.

I had to save for years for my Summer vacation and I only went on one for 10 days.

I think the Sussex’s are making a huge mistake with all this celebrity association. They are just putting themselves out in the arena of publicity and paparazzi that caused so much distress for Harry’s mother. And ignoring the general population.

You know what would have been a nice gesture? A photo of the 3 of them on holiday for Megan’s birthday. Yeah, show Archie’s face. Be natural.

But now they’ve essentially told the public that Super-A list celebrities can see Archie, but not the millions in the UK who just want to see the baby.

Harry is all about privacy, but he’s losing his good wishes chips in a precipitous fashion with their behavior.

If they want to know how to raise a child in the royal family - have a nice long visit with Princess Anne. She’s done a terrific job with her children. Then, take a nice holiday with the Wessex family. They come off as decent, humble responsible parents who have also done a great job raising children in a royal household. It has even been reported that the Queen wants Megan to spend more time with Sophie Wessex to learn how deal with being a non-royal spouse. Sadly, I think there is no way this is going to happen when Megan values more having her celebrity pals on speed-dial.

But my guess is that the shoddy flash that lures both Harry and Megan to celebrities has blinded them to the role models and the responsibilities right in front of them.

Harry is rapidly losing his credibilty as a spokeman for the health of the planet, and Megan is damaging her pet causes by her associations and faux modesty.

Great post Herat. I totally agree.

Meghan and Harry have gone too far with their hob-snobbing agenda. I'm beginning to understand why many Brits want to abolish the Royals.

All this makes me want to see a picture of the Queen out in Balmoral wearing a tartan skirt and country jacket, enjoying herself on a ramble, or maybe a ride, out in the beauty of the Scottish countryside, far away from these family disasters.
