...She has reportedly been asking advice on what she can bring with her to make an 'immediate, useful' difference to the people she meets, according to the Sunday Telegraph
...Why is she bringing a handful of her son's used baby clothes?
...Those clothes are going to be prizes... likely to be sold for the notoriety.
I understand she "wants to help" but this seems just very poorly thought out. Once again. Can't someone instill some common sense into this woman?
^ THISIsn't it someone's job to help her make these types of plans? And to help her with public speaking? Someone needs to be fired.
Giving the clothes to charity IS Great....I don’t see what is wrong with the Duchess giving Archie’s clothing away to children in need...
It is better for the clothing to be used than thrown away and it will be the best quality.
This is exactly what the normal advice is.When you go on a trip to third-world countries, the guides specifically address the issue of bringing things to give away and all companies discourage it...
...If she wants to give away Archie's things, then I'm sure there are UK charities where it can be done*discretely*
She should have butttoned one more button on the top.Not too wild about the dress that Meg wore to the museum but the color was so nice with her complexion.
Nice to see such a pretty color.
...And while I do respect their privacy, a few more photos of Archie would go a long way and be a generous act. People are excited about him! *Here’s hoping the trip to Africa will be his “coming out party” and we will see more of him.
Yes, I really prefer that dress to the blue one she wore at the museum. And she looks very comfortable in it, doesn't she?
KE - you crack me up every time: Queen of the Memes.I mean it's not like it takes a rocket scientist does it?
It really is so simple, that's all they needed to do...![]()
* I'm not so sure that won't backfire badly, they should have at least released a decent pic. so the people in their own country got to see Archie first.
They should've done that long before now but absolutely before this...
I mean.... Seriously Harry?
Prince Harry gushes he ‘can’t wait’ to introduce baby Archie....he told royal fans he “can’t wait to introduce” baby Archie and his wife Meghan Markle on their first official tour of Africa as a family.
What exactly he means by "introduce" I think could be taken a couple of ways thou.
But however he needs to be aware he's got to be very careful how he treads right now![]()

The blue dress is reportedly the one she wore in Tonga.
The color is lovely and very photogenic
I think the worst was that white blouse with the non-matching white and blue skirt she wore at Wimbledon when seated with Kate. It just looked sloppy and cut her very much in half.I like the print. A couple of suggestions I've pondered since she first began dating Harry and started appearing in the news media:
Get rid of the bows and ties at the waist. As a petite woman, it cuts your silhouette in half and bulks up your middle. I prefer a long, smooth line. A-line dress or, as she seems to prefer, an empire waist that's tailored to taper in, then flare. Tailored, body-hugging (but not tight) looks are so much better for petite women than gathers, poufs, puffs, blousy, bows, etc. JMO
Stop messing with hemlines. Very few women look good in busy hemlines. Asymmetrical, front gap split, gored split, etc. also break up the long, tapered line and make short women's legs look shorter and heavier. A modest side or front split can be ok on a tailored skirt or dress. A blowsy dress skirt with a wide front split makes it appear your crotch will be showing at any moment. Ok, maybe in your 20's, cringey in women approaching middle age.
I think overall the bit of extra pregnancy weight she still has is very flattering to her. She looks softer.
I think Meghan should stick to dresses like the one she wore today. I think she had some cute ones in Tonga.
That is her look. Ethnic designers. Hope she sticks with it
Here's what I'm looking forward to:
"HarperCollins Publishers has announced that The Queen's personal dresser Angela Kelly has written a book about her close working relationship with Her Majesty. The book, entitled "The Other Side of the Coin: The Queen, the Dresser and the Wardrobe", will be published on October 29th. The audiobook read by Angela will also be released on the same day.
From the press release: "In The Other Side of the Coin, The Queen has personally given Angela her blessing to share their unparalleled bond with the world. Angela Kelly is the first serving member of the Royal Household to have been given this extraordinary permission. [...] Sharing never-before-seen photographs – many from Angela’s own private collection – and charming anecdotes of their time spent together, this revealing book provides memorable insights into what it’s like to work closely with The Queen, to curate her wardrobe and to discover a true and lasting connection along the way."
.
Samantha Cohen, Assistant Private Secretary to The Queen (2011-2018) says: "This book [...] gives a rare glimpse into the demands of the job of supporting the Monarch, and we gain privileged insight into a successful working relationship, characterised by humour, creativity, hard work, and a mutual commitment to service and duty."
.
Angela is originally from Liverpool and started working for The Queen in 1993 as Assistant Dresser. They met by chance, when Kelly was working as the Housekeeper for Sir Christopher Mallaby, British Ambassador to Germany. She mentioned she would soon be returning to England, and shortly afterwards received a call from the palace offering her a job as a Dresser. Three years later she was promoted to Senior Dresser, before being made Personal Assistant and Senior Dresser in 2002. In 2006, she was appointed a Member of the Royal Victorian Order, and promoted to Lieutenant of the same Order in 2012.
Angela is also the author of the successful book Dressing The Queen (2012), which celebrated Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee.
