A stag dance at Old Mar Lodge
Peaceful_personalities_and_warriors_bold_%281907%29_%2814577314020%29.jpg
Peaceful Personalities and Warriors Bold of gillies in the court-yard of the Lodge, and the slain stags were placed in a row, when, to the triumphant screel of the bagpipes, in the weird light of the flickering flare of a hundred torches and a huge fire of logs, the lucky shots would examine the antlers of their quarry, afterwards joining in a reel round the stags finishing up with a flying leapthrough the flaming logs.

Later, a string band would play the most delightful waltz music, and the guests would foregather in the hall and dance till the small hours...

Princess Beatrice is engaged to her multi-millionaire boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, the Duke and Duchess of York have announced.

The couple, who have been together for 10 months, became engaged while away for the weekend in Italy earlier this month.

Congratulations to Princess Beatrice. The wedding is going to be interesting given Prince Andrew’s situation I think I would be getting married in Italy if I was Princess Beatrice.

Really want Bea to be happy but theres something I don't trust about her fella. I'm going to err on the side of being cautiously happy for them.

The timing of the engagement is a bit odd, usually they try to stagger these things and not have competing events/announcements but both William and Kate had an event today and Harry is in Botswana. I wonder is she pregnant or is something about Andrew coming out in the next few days?

Or a destination wedding such as Mustique where they could have it with fewer paparazzi available. Or there are other places on earth that are inaccessible except to the ultra rich

The rumor a couple of weeks ago was that her mother was in Italy scouting wedding venues there. It would be smart for them to get married outside the UK, IMHO.

I just don't think the UK public is interested in another splashy Westminster Cathedral royal wedding right now, and especially not with Prince Andrew in attendance.

100% would be the right choice except for her Grandparents most likely wouldn't attend if it was outside the UK

If it was me, I'd want to be married in Balmoral........
