The sweet nickname Meghan goes by in the palace

The Duchess of Sussex has been given a new Diana-related nickname, a source close to the royal household confirms.

As reported in Vanity Fair, the source said, "I've heard the duchess is referred to as Di 2, because of the similarities to Harry’s mother. It’s meant affectionately, and I think it’s quite true — they are rather alike."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Plane Forced to Abort Landing | Xfinity

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's plane was forced to abort landing in Sydney on Friday.

According to the Evening Standard, the royal couple had been traveling from Tonga to Australia when the flight captain of their Qantas aircraft, Nigel Rosser, was forced to pull up the aircraft just before their scheduled landing. Yikes! Glad everything was ok. After watching The Crown epis on Netflix, it's clear these overseas trips by the RF can be long, grueling and with more than their share of security problems. It's a tremendous undertaking and while it looks like lots of fun in the news media, it seems to be rather stressful and exhausting.

I watched a documentary last night on HBO called Queen of the World, about Queen Elizabeth's history with the Commonwealth. One of the segments was about the royal yacht Britannia and how HRH is the most traveled of any monarch in history. There were also a lot of good fashion moments from the the Royal family females and a feature of Meghan's wedding veil in preparation for going on display.

The black and white Oscar De La Renta is gorgeous!!! Very fashion forward and yet classic at the same time. She almost looks like a ballerina.

I don't think we have seen this dress on the thread yet, from her last morning in Tonga:

She may have worn this on the plane back to Sydney. Looks great and comfortable too. This shade of blue is wonderful on her!

I haven't been pregnant for 45 years, but Meghan looks farther along than 12-13 weeks.

I agree, I think given it's her first baby and the fact she probably has toned tummy muscles, I reckon she's probably at 15/16ish weeks, she's definitely thickening out round the middle. End of April would be nice - Queen's birthday on 21st, St George's Day on 23rd, Charlotte & Louis birthdays are also around then.

Yes! She may have waited a couple of weeks to not release the news even a week or two before Eugenie's wedding. So she could easily be 15 weeks.

I definitely think they had to wait until after the wedding but before the tour (knowing she'd be photographed every day from every angle). With my first I showed obviously by 18-20 weeks, with my second my tummy muscles just gave up at around 14 weeks and I had a huge bump throughout!

This Oscar De La Renta dress is beautiful. It is one of my favourite outfits the Duchess has worn. It is great Oscar De La Renta still make lovely dresses even though the designer has sadly passed away.

Well, I'm up way late watching World Series baseball. Good lord, it's the 18th inning, longest post game in history, Boston and Los Angeles are tied 2 & 2... It is too exciting!!! I can't sleep.

So, I'm catching up on my favorite thread at WS.

The red dress with the tag was just beautiful.

The blue dresses, all of them are Meghan's color. I love the last casual one that looks super comfortable. And her hair pulled back, no messy bun looks very nice.

The Oscar dress is just stunning, and yes very ballerina. I would have glammed up her hair to go with it.

Her make up... Her make up was so natural at her wedding. She should stick to that.

She needs to ditch the bronzer as definition, and moonlight highlighter above it. This shiny contoured sculpted thing in make up just looks terrible, in my opinion. You want to go a shade lighter with a matte blush on the upper apple of the cheeks. There, I said it. And I would have added a hint of pink lips for color with the monochrome evening dress.

Omg... Los Angeles, a walk off home run in the 18th inning for the win!!! This was a 7 hour game... This was some amazing baseball tonight. Wow...

I can finally say good night... Zzzzz
