That does make sense, but when they were dating he took Meghan to Africa. Where do you think they stayed?

I remember hiking in Northern WA near the Canadian border. We were told to make a lot of noise on the trail so we wouldn’t startle the Grizzlies. Scary.

But I’m sure we would have heard something by now if Archie wasn’t alive anymore.

Hard to say about custody. Some seem to think it’s a plot, but there’s no evidence of that. Imaginations run wild.

I have concerns the relationship won’t last but I really hope for Archie’s sake they do not separate. It is difficult enough being a young married couple without the serious changes and challenges they are going through. Hopefully they will make it.

I don't like the use of "royal" in this context either. I think it is misleading and incorrectly lends a BP approved air or quality to their merely personal commercial activities. There is an implication of a royal warrant that does NOT exist.

An example would be Royal Doulton which operates under an official royal warrant.

If MM & PH are no longer performing royal duties, then why do they need all that security anyway? No one cares. Bullocks on PH's military service enhancing his security risk.

Security for Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie is paid for privately by Prince Andrew. JMO the Queen should consider ousting PH and Archie from the line of succession entirely. That action would push the Princesses back up higher in the chain, and let those two perform the royal duties since they have done wonderfully whenever tapped. There has never been any scandal with the girls, always mannered and modest, close first cousins of the future king and part of the same social set - just as the Queen has relied on her own cousins to perform royal duties since her only sister died young.

I just can't get past the fact that... surely someone must have warned her, no? Or maybe several someones? Said ahead of time, "you do realize being part of this family is sometimes a dull slog of work, don't you?" She had multiple opportunities, including whomever schedules Harry, to rely upon to give her a clear picture. It's just hard to wrap one's head around how relatively soon MM is down and tapping out.

I do think it was a stroke of genius diplomacy of the QM to put a ticking clock on the break. At this point, I suspect she realizes that everybody involved could do with a break from each other. I don't read the DM anymore now that they make me turn off my anti-advert software (I looked once upon a time and it was blocking 102 or maybe even 120 irritating pieces of electronic tat, I forget which), so maybe someone can tell me; what are the papers saying happens precisely after the year is up? Can everything revert to the prior status?

Didn’t I hear that they’re in negotiations with Tim “Apple” Cook to produce the Royal Sussex iPhone model which will be coming out with phone cases with the Sussex logo? I’d buy one in a heartbeat! Of course, there will be an extra charge for the base model and quite a lot more for the gold leaf.

Sources say the 24 carat gold case has an undisclosed price. It depends on the price of gold the day that you buy it.
