She seems a little more “mature” for a big bow like that.

The one dress I did not like was the one Misha Noonoo wore. It was some sort of rare lace made by left handed blue-eyed 80 year old Romanian virgins or something, but the lace pattern was so large and the dress design made too many seams where the lace pattern didn’t match, and I thought the dress looked very stiff.

I honestly don’t know how they are going to overcome this. Royal merchandising with Sussex Royal is not a good idea. It is just going to cause more problems with Buckingham Palace and bring more bad publicity. They will not be allowed to trademark and use anything with the word royal or with Duke and Duchess of Sussex in it Buckingham Palace will not allow it.

It is possible ‘Sussex Royal’ was only trademarked so other people couldn’t profit from it and they have no intention of bringing out Sussex Royal branded items.

The couple would be better making money from Netflix shows, Apple TV+ documentaries and book and public speaking deals. I can envision clothing lines from brands the couple have helped design and fragrance deals with a portion of profits going to charity but I don’t know how likely it is in reality.

Royal officials baffled at how Harry and Meghan intend to repay huge cost of refurbishing Frogmore | Daily Mail Online

The actual quote in the article is:
However, officials could not confirm yesterday how this would be done or how long it would take, saying: ‘The mechanism by which they pay the money has yet to be worked out.’
BBM

That’s a far cry from “baffled” implying as the title also states: “How WILL they pay the 2.4 million Frogmore bill?” implying “How in the world are they going to find the money?”

baffled. When you're baffled, you're confused or perplexed. Being baffled is being befuddled, bewildered, confounded, or mixed up. If you're baffled, you can't understand something. Some people are baffled by math; others are baffled by things celebrities do.

baffled - Dictionary Definition

The officials weren’t “baffled.” It simply hasn’t been decided yet. This is a very clear illustration of how the intent of the officials’ statement is deliberately distorted by the Daily Mail in its headline. For shame! And this isn’t even the worst example. Be careful what you believe!

@Herat Big bows are a big wedding trend right now. I've personally never seen it in real life but the magazines are telling me it is. :p I had to look that dress up. It sounds quite expensive but it doesn't look expensive at all. Not my style. I especially don't like that little strap that goes up to her neck. Have you seen Hilary Duff's wedding dress from her new marriage this past December? It has a cape with shoulder pads. I could see Beatrice going for something like that too.

EDIT: I just looked up the Hilary Duff dress again and it's not a cape, it's verrryyyy long flowing sleeves. I still like it. It makes it look like a cape from the front.

I suspect this is exactly why “Sussex Royal” was trademarked. If they hadn’t done that, they’d be considered foolish. Now they are considered mercenary. I will be very surprised is there is ever any Sussex Royal merchandise planned or produced. I am sure it was never the intent.

Too funny, @Herat! :D

I thought it looked like a Battenberg lace table cloth. Lovely on a table, but not so much on a body.

And I'll bet they'll be right. That part about how "quickly" she's become a part of the Royal Family, for instance, is a classic royal backhand imo. Consistent with Camilla's response to whether she'll miss Harry and Markle -- "mmm -- smirk -- course." jmo
Camilla? The home wrecker who tried to ruin Princess Diana's life? Does anyone care what Camilla thinks?

Yes. Home wrecker was Charles.

Yes. Home wrecker was Charles.
I think they both were. Camilla was as wretched as he was and I can't believe she was allowed to become part of the Royal family. No wonder Prince Harry wants out.

Yep. That Camilla. The one who's been married to the next King of England for 15 years and probably has a pretty good idea of what the fam thinks of the current goings on. I think most people are over the homewrecker thing. Maybe I'm wrong, but that seemed to be the concensus on this thread a couple of days ago. Anyway, my personal opinion is that the Queen, et al. aren't super happy about what's going on and, partly because Harry is their family, blame Markle. jmo

I guess I'm not over the wretched way Camilla treated Princess Di. I can't call it a home wrecker 'thing.' She was a home wrecker, straight up. It was real and it was ugly and messy. Did you read their messages to each other?

I have no respect for her or her husband. JMO

I certainly hope Charles does not become the King of England. Naming Camilla the Queen would be a travesty. I don't think it can be done. It would be a joke, in my opinion.

Beside that, how on earth is a man worth about £30 million going to pay a bill of £2.4 million  He'll have to search for pennies under the sofa cushions!

RICHARD KAY: For the Queen's sake, when WILL Harry start to think before he acts? | Daily Mail Online

Snipped:
“Were these the first cracks in the highly polished exterior, an unmistakably emotional outburst ripping up the carefully choreographed royal script and, for the first time, appearing to directly question the agreement struck with his grandmother the Queen?

With the ink barely dry on the deal that allows him to escape the straitjacket of being a working royal, Harry's sudden decision to use a private event to pass a very public judgement on it was not just discourteous to the Royal Family, but also dramatically undermined the harmonious accord it had been presented as hours earlier”

I get disliking her. But, nonetheless, I think she has a finger on the pulse of the climate in the Royal Family at the moment. So I do think her reaction is quite telling.

I don't remember much about Diana, tbh. I do remember when she died, but only because it was wall to wall msm coverage.

I watched the courtship and wedding and all the rest. I’m glad we got Will and Harry, but the match was doomed. Charles didn’t love her and she came to know it, probably even before the wedding. As she put it, regarding Camilla, “there were three people in our marriage.” Diana certainly had her issues too, but but Charles and Camilla were responsible for the marriage imploding. And I will say that I think Charles was under considerable pressure from his parents to marry and produce heirs, so some responsibility for a poor match with a very young woman rests there as well. Shakespeare would have had a field day with this tragedy.

May Harry rest well tonight and enjoy tomorrow with his family.

He is a man of great moral courage. I can honestly say I am more impressed with his actions than those of anyone else I’ve witnessed.

His mother would be pleased.
