He also says that he's going to start defending himself, and will take payment for interviews he does - including the Channel 5 chat.

He said: "I'm going to defend myself and I'm going to be paid for it. I don't care. At this point, they owe me. The Roymore als owe me. Harry owes me, Meghan owes me. What I've been through I should be rewarded for.

"My daughter told me that when I reach my senior years she'll take care of me. I'm in my senior years now, it's time to look after daddy."

Thomas Markle accuses Harry of being 'way too sensitive' and says royals owe him

Good grief!
More dirty linen in public, but if that is the way it all went down, where MM had her friends gang up on him in People, then I can see his point of view.

Harry and Meghan claim paparazzi 'stalked' them within hours of their reunion in Canada

The incident will raise questions about the couple’s decision to quit the UK due to the “bullying” British tabloids when they were rarely pursued by paparazzi photographers due to a longstanding agreement between the palace and newspaper editors not to publish any intrusive images following the death of Diana, Princess of Wales.

Now no longer members of the royal family, nor subject to the royal rota system which provides the UK media with lawfully obtained imagery - the couple are effectively being treated as ‘celebrities’ in North America - which one paparazzo told the Telegraph was “like the wild west compared to Britain”.

Sources close to the celebrity picture agencies, which are both based in Los Angeles but have photographers based around the world, insist that the Duchesses’ bodyguards were aware the latest pictures were being taken in a public place.
your bolded section I firmly agree with. The one guard is on his phone, paying no attention. Also, if MM suspected photogs, why did she not get behind or between her guards? Oh, I know why.,... moo

from your link:
spiked: What about the coverage of Meghan compared to Kate Middleton?

Wootton: I would say that’s not really a correct comparison because Kate has always been someone who is prepared to follow the rules. She knows what her role is. She wants to be part of the royal family and she doesn’t want to rock the boat.

I think it’s much more appropriate to compare the treatment and the coverage that Meghan had in Britain with Princess Diana, with Sarah Ferguson, with Camilla Parker-Bowles and with Sophie Wessex. The idea that any of those princesses got easier treatment than Meghan is laughable.

Sounds like it's going to be no holds barred. I'm going to need to stock up on popcorn.

I have never been on a WS thread that shied from diagnosing the suspect (criminal cases) as narcissistic, psycho or sociopath. I wondered how one would know if a person suffers from such conditions but reached the conclusion many are capable of diagnosing based on the crime (I guess). I’m unable to, personally.
If you are referring to PH &/or MM, Harry has stated
he suffers from mental health issues & is concerned about MM’s mental health. Moo

Prince Harry fast-tracked plans as he feared his wife would have a 'meltdown' | Daily Mail Online

link claims PH feared MM would experience “meltdown”.....

this link is informative as well:

Meghan Markle's Concern About Prince Harry's Mental Health Revealed: Why Doing This One Thing Is 'Damaging'
I saw numerous references to concern for someone’s well-being but not much else, certainly not accusations of narcissistic behavior or labeling someone as a doormat.

What goes on in other threads is just as wrong and some complain. Those threads are typically about criminal behavior and that may lead to the name-calling. I would love if we could avoid the name-calling here and others would too.

Thank you for listening.

This is DM so take with a grain of 10 of salt. If there is any accuracy though and I was Harry's dad I think I would rethink that couple of million funding.

Meghan Markle: Prince Harry will flourish now he's quit royals | Daily Mail Online

EXCLUSIVE: 'It's the best thing that could ever happen to him!' Meghan tells friends it was her love for Harry that made their new life possible and he'll flourish now, as she insists their spirits were being crushed by royal family

  • Meghan Markle has been telling her friends that quitting the royal family is the best thing that could ever happen to Prince Harry, a source told DailyMail.com
  • 'She said that like her, his spirit was being crushed and she simply couldn't stand to see him suffer anymore,' the friend added
  • Meghan also confided that 'it was her love for him that made this possible'
  • On Monday, Meghan went for a walk with Archie and her dogs on Vancouver Island, Canada, just a few hours before Harry landed in Vancouver
  • They are in 'no rush' to move out of the $14m mansion they've been using
  • The friend also said: 'Meghan and Harry are not planning on changing their website or Instagram name... they will keep the Royal part in'
  • 'Meghan says they will always be considered royalty regardless of where they live or what they do'

Yep, it must be very disorientating - even blinding - and also very intimidating, plus trying not to pull an ugly face with all those flashes going off! Hard enough when you want it (ie on the red carpet) but quite an ordeal when you don't.
I’ve been at several concerts and the camera flashes are truly blinding - it always makes me sad when I re-watch the Diana documentary IN her own words and what she endured with the cameras - I don’t think anyone was stalked like she was IMO - I get PH and his desire to avoid that but there is a responsibility to help facilitate it much like PW and Kate have IMO

About 15 ? years ago a friend and I took a trip to England. It was hardly enough time. Three weeks.

Since there is no way we could drive on the absolutely wrong side of the road in a car with the steering wheel mounted incorrectly on the wrong side of the car , we took a tour through Devon, Cornwall, Bath, Lands’ End and other points. It was great except I hated the part where we had 1/2 hour to do this and 1 hour to do that.

But the narration of the tour guide is so worth it.

One of the things that freaked me out was learning about Bloody Mary. How the burning of the bodies sent their smell throughout the area.

I was scared to death, but I managed to drive in Ireland. I was surprised at how easy it was to switch.

Meghan Markle Showing These Shocking Signs That Confirm Narcissistic Behavior

Meghan Markle Showing These Shocking Signs That Confirm Narcissistic Behavior

I don't trust the source. It's a blog from a self-admitted narcissist. As someone (me) who was forced to be raised with a narcissist, excuse me if I don't find a narcissist to be a credible, reliable, trust-worthy source. Including that if anyone seems like a narcissist, it's Samantha herself. MOO, IMO, JMO, etc etc.

No one here is claiming to make a clinical diagnosis of any mental illness or personality disorder. This is a discussion in which people give their observations of behavior and character traits of celebrities, and entertainment news. Calling someone a narcissist is a general statement to describe those with a need for admiration, a sense of entitlement and an inability to handle criticism. I think you will find the great majority of posts here start or end with IMO which means it is just that.

Is any one here qualified to determine the mental health of a person. I’m speaking of professional qualifications. And have you examined the person in question?

If not everyone should avoid speaking of anyone as anything other than normal. Or should we be free to speak of one another as mentally ill?

IMHO
FYI the primary definition of narcissistic is not clinical. It's a legitimate adjective that can be applied by anyone to anyone who exhibits the behavior within the non-clinical defintion of the word.

right ? :D I’d fall over or get stuck. Someone posted an All Kate’s shoes link up thread. I do love the leather boots she wears. To die for imo. And I like the wedges/espadrilles also.

Kate's ability to squat so low in heels never ceases to amaze me

I was thinking about the photos of MM taken yesterday. Is it possible her guard staff caught a glimpse of paparazzi near the mansion, alerted MM & she promptly decided to go for a hike to see if they’d follow? Moo

I would love to know what Thomas thinks the royals owe him and why? It is just as well he never went to the wedding can you imagine if he had? I will not watch this programme on channel 5 tonight I refuse to watch that trashy channel with shows like this on it.
