I understand all the points, but if you look at my post I am not questioning any of the points, they could all be absolutely correct.
What I am saying is that if certain elements of the PJ were, or were seen to be corrupt, if evidence was planted the dogs would alert, it wouldnt have to be Madeleines.
Then if the UK government found out about this, they would face a diplomatic crisis. We have seen the reports about the witholding of information from the Home Office regards the FOI request from the Daily star that would have resulted in Diplomatic problems if they had been released.
Everything could fit, the parents would be aware and that could possibly lead to the actions that have been discussed in various areas.

I totally believe that the dogs alerted correctly, which obviously leads me to thinking that there is no evidence of an abductor that can be confirmed.
Ive seen the statements and there are so many inconsistencies that imo there is something very wrong about the validity of some of the claims and times etc.
I just struggle to believe that so many people could have kept such a terrible secret under such intense scrutiny, but if somewhere in the first few months they found out that they held the trump card in the fact of their knowledge of the PJ evidence corrupition, they would be in a position of strength and immunity that would possibly give them the confidence or fear, to continue.

I'm not saying that this is what i believe to be the case, I am saying it would answer a lot of questions in my mind as to whys and what fors!

I see what you're getting at. The stumbling block is believing it's possible that these "nice" people could be so callous and scheming. I have felt that emotion too, trust me. But the facts of the case pretty much stop it in its tracks.

I know it seems almost inexplicable...but allow yourself to brainstorm freely for reasons why the Tapas group might've closed ranks as they did. They were (or at least, Tanner was) clearly being deceptive.

Maybe a wife swapping embarrasment? Something else offensive/incriminating/damaging said, filmed, photographed at one of their boozy nights abroad in balmy climates? Who knows...but it is something I can easily imagine, and would explain the "pact" that Payne spoke of.

Tanner's Rogatory Statement made it clear she was afraid of/intimidated by/uncomfortable around Gerry. Again, why?

The laws of KISS state that Madeleine died at the hands of those who neglected her in the first place, and who then covered it up, just like thousands of other "missing" children. We know that child abuse occurs in every sector of society, its victims range from newborns upwards. Whether it's a struggle to believe or not, it happens. Sadly, it happens often.

What doesn't happen often is one little girl tucked up in bed in a strange apartment, being spirited away right under the noses of her "checkers".

The theory of Portugese LE cover up or framing is pretty much blown out of the water anyway, to my mind, when you consider we have proof that it was the British Police who first developed the evidence implicating the McCanns.

If the McCann had one sniff of Portugese corruption or incompetence, it would be all over the headlines. As it is they've done their best to gag and ridicule Amaral, even without proof of wrongdoing or incompetence...but they have carefully stopped short of alleging any impropriety against the PJ itself, possibly because it also would start another review, which may against their interests.

I don't know why the theory that the entire PJ ( and the British Police by implication), is conspiring in a coverup would be more credible and believeable than the thought of the Tapas 9 colluding but there you go. Different strokes.

Only tanner and rachel oldfield have ever done interviews in the media, remember rachel saying on the radio if madeleine had beenbanged on the head they could rescusitate her???

The rest have been deathly quiet for five and a half years, control anyone?

Its a fact that from the beginning the tapas group were told not to speak to the media unless it was through gerry mccann
