Rather ironic that JLM's defense lawyer, James Camblos III, was the Albemarle county prosecutor for 16 years, the same county MH's body was eventually found in (after Camblos had moved on to another jusrisdiction) and where LE is currently searching for Hannah.

Have to wonder how he feels about this defendant and the ever-expanding case.

It looks like are skipping the bond hearing and going straight to the preliminary hearing. The preliminary hearing is the same thing as a GJ indictment, except the judge decides whether there is enough to go to trial, instead of a jury.

A bond review that had been set for Thursday for Matthew was canceled after his attorney said he will not ask for his client to be released on bond, reports WTVR. He is due in court for a preliminary hearing on the abduction charge in the Hannah Graham case Dec. 4.

That and maybe his attorney wants him jailed for his safety.

I'm not knowledgeable on the law and court proceedings, but I thought that they had to have an arraignment/preliminary hearing or something like that within a certain period of time. When does he get to offer a plea on the defile charges? I'm so confused. Also I wonder what his attorney talked to him about for 2.5 hours. I wonder if Jesse told him the truth. I wonder if he tried to persuade Jesse to admit what happened to Hannah. I wonder about a lot of things.

What I really wonder about, and I haven't seen it talked about or aske here, is what his roommates had to say about what time he got home that night and how he acted. The time he got home (if he did come home) tells something about how far away Hannah could be.

His room mates were a boyfriend/girlfriend and I know from personal knowledge that the male room mate also works at UVa Hospital. I'm sure LE has interviewed them but I haven't heard anything about it in MSM or even by word of mouth through aquaintances.

Can the previous rape and sexual assault allegations against JM be brought out at trial? Even if they weren't prosecuted.
If the Morgan Harrington and Fairfax cases and any other cases that may come to light are linked to JM will he be tried for those at the same trial he would be facing for the charges related to Hannah Graham?

Per this link, no time limit in VA for rape and of course murder has no time limit either. Good! Don't know about the circumstances and evidence that was collected back then though. (personally having a hard time with two known college rape accusations with no formal charges)

His status as a fugitive likely makes bond impossible at this point.

He left the jurisdiction before he was charged. I think his lawyer could defend his fugutive status. He must have admited guilt to his lawyer, hence lawyer skeptical of applying for bond

I'm not so sure about that:

Fugitive From Justice: Defined .--To be a fugitive from justice within the meaning of this clause, it is not necessary that the party charged should have left the State after an indictment found or for the purpose of avoiding a prosecution anticipated or begun. It is sufficient that the accused, having committed a crime within one State and having left the jurisdiction before being subjected to criminal process, is found within another State. 227 The motive which induced the departure is immaterial. 228 Even if he were brought involuntarily into the State where found by requisition from another State, he may be surrendered to a third State upon an extradition warrant.

The term "Rape Kit" comes to mind. Perhaps he had all the items that would imply such intentions.

The intent to defile must come from evidence they have found in his home/car... And it makes me believe it was some serious evidence, enough that they haven't been in a huge hurry to talk to him, like they already know HG's fate . I have not found anything concrete but am hearing they have moved the Thursday hearing to December...??!! Any one heard or seen a story on that?

I'm confused too, I see tweets saying all court proceedings today cancelled, and all stemming from the same reporter (tweet below) But I also see many MSM tweets saying JLM is set to appear in court at 9am.

I think they might be mistaken about court today. Maybe they think since the bond hearing has been rescheduled to 12/4/14, they are saying it's cancelled. Not the traffic charges though. Even twitter is confused right now.
