I am a dog person but cats are pretty cool too! ; )

Loved them and have had both during my life - (at times better than my kids and grands)!!!

I had two sister cats from birth and one died suddenly of a rare heart condition in Sept. My dad died around the same time and now I have his small Maltese dog with my cat. They avoid each other. At least there is no fur flying around the house.

Animals love us unconditionally. They are an amazing source of comfort. I'm sorry to hear about your losses. I lost my 3month old grandaughter last year. Grief is never easy. Animals understand. I don't have a pet at the moment but can't wait for the day I can! I am always happy to make someones day! : ))
