The Chill Thread

Well unfortunately we don't get much time for extracricular activities. Never been to a Broadway play. Wouldn't mind seeing one though.

The play is in different cities. If your in a city that hasit I recommend it.

Of the last 5 cases I've worked on, I've seen only one arrest and conviction. Very depressing. Maybe I need to step back and chill for awhile.

Pass me 4 fingers of something strong, please.

here's a clip of the Jersey Boys. Looks like fun! What's the plot? Is it a musical?

but if you are talking about the broadway show
Jersey Boys
its a great great great show.

it is the story of franki valli
from teen age years of being a criminal and getting locked up for stupid stuff....to wanting to be a singer
and then when success hit
it hit like a tsunami

its a great great broadway show.

Not off topic at all! This is the Chill thread! A place to come and kick back and talk about whatever, as long as it's chill! A virtual cafe of sorts. Glad to see ya! : )
I've never been to a play, never even thought I would want to, after watching the clip however, I think it would be fun!

By the way, which case did you work that got an arrest and convictions Kat?

Everyone who i know who has seen Jersey Boys absolutely loved it. In both NYC and Miami.

I have to go through the Tehachapi's every time I go see my parents. I know that road like the back of my hand. Hart Flats, Caliente turn off, Arvin turn off. I lose service through there every time I go through. They are beautiful mountains though. I love watching the trains go through the tunnels up there. And when there is snow.......wow. Gorgeous. Amazing to think those mountains were formed over thousands of years by earthquakes. Makes you feel kinda small........

Hey Seajay! I think I found a way to share the video I took of the train going the tunnel in the Tahachapi Mountains. It MUST be the same one you speak of! Go here to see.

Hope it works!
There's some other videos there too. I just started this photo bucket thing, so I haven't uploaded all my travel pics
yet. I will be adding to it. If anybody's interested feel free to check it out and comment from time to time!
It does! It works!

I couldn't see them. I got the box with the little red "x" in both of the links. :(

She took a plea deal, but with all her charges, she won't see the light of day for a long long time. Wish there had been enough evidence to charge her husband with, at the VERY least, gross child neglect...but that didn't happen. Why it didn't happen, I'll never know. Around here, you learn quickly to count your victories and move on (sort of) to the next battle.

Next time you and your dearly beloved are out west and near Vegas you can go to the Paris Hotel. Go earlier in the day to get discount tickets at the many locations dotted on the Strip and Downtown. That is what I did this past October. Great show. Better seating than most Broadway theaters. Figure spending no more than 150 for 2 tickets with the discount.

I loved the show.

I WISH! ; ) Maybe one day!

I was in Vegas a few times. I went to a great show. It's at the rhino. The spearmint rhino. Really friendly girls there. My favorite type of that kind of place I've ever been to. I've been to most of the big ones in Florida, manhattan, Vegas, LA...but the rhino is the best. Check it out.

Since I live in the Los Angeles area, I've gone to the Schubert or the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion to see several plays/musicals. Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast, Evita, Chorus Line, and what else I can't remember because it was over 40 years ago. I just remember I had a Playbill for it.

That being said, I would love to see Jersey Boys. I live about 5 hours from Las Vegas. I might grab hubster and go see it there.
