That granular material - probably a result of decomposition - is what raised the possibility of a very small subdural haematoma (bleed) on the surface of the brain. They're just being thorough. But that could not be confirmed, even under the microscope.
Good grief - don't tell me they're going to try the suicide theory again? The prosecution had access to some very specific information on liver levels of sertraline at the bail hearing, which was presented in court and put paid to any notions of overdose. This evidence was presented by one of the other pathologists, not Nathan Milne.
If they're really going to try that one on again, it'll be interesting to see how the defence explain how she got to Kholo with no car....
...and only picking up plant material found in the driveway and at Kholo.
And screaming and loud argument heard from the BC house ... later sound of thuds also heard.
And beautiful expensive hairdo just done in preparation for following day conference ....
I can only assume that the defence strategy is to create 'reasonable doubt' hence the absence of alternative theories.
