Mrs Dickie also said she could never talk to her daughter properly on the phone because a baby monitor in the kitchen of the Brookfield home meant that Gerard could hear the conversation while he was in the garage.

'What sort of life is that?' she said.

An abusive relationship? :(

Urrrghh! That site is behind a paywall! Thanks anyway Camp Chair. I don't really want to look at those crazy eyes of hers!

TM really looks like the cat that swallowed the canary in that pic. :scared:

Ms Walton said Gerard was always at home after work when dinner was being prepared and the children were being readied for bed.

'He was helping to prepare the meals if not preparing them herself.

She said on the weeks she did not have her children she would see Baden-Clay three or four times a week and rarely on weekends.
Ms McHugh said she would see the accused in the evening and was explained with: “I need to work back”.

Priscilla Dickie tells #badenclay trial Gerard and Allison's house was 'spick and span. The kitchen was just sterile." @7newsbrisbane

Guess he'd had a few hours to tidy up, knowing there would be visitors after 6am...

Above is BBM
That does not at all sound to me like someone who was going to make the choice to "end her own life" that night (19th April) ..... :banghead:
Making her plans for the next day. Hmmmmm

Sorry forgive me I'm just catching up, way back on page 17 :blushing: but wanted to put my :twocents: in.

Where are those ball gowns?
Did Allison put them in the back of her car because I can't see them hanging in readiness of her taking them in the morning.

:waitasec:

O Baden Walton seems to share a mental space with TM

The jury are folks like us

I have every confidence in the jury's ability to sort out those two wildly conflicting versions

I thought GBC called Allison, Angel ?
OW said he called her Princess
yep he did

Baden-Clay, 41, rang police on the morning of April 20 to say the woman he called his "angel" had disappeared.

Ms Walton also told court Gerard called Allison 'princess' and treated her like a princess initially in their relationship

Angel -- Princess

Maybe he hyphenated them?

Seems to be a bit of a family issue with names .....

Maybe they're the smoking gun?

I am a bit shocked at this question and comment, didn't he make a commitment for July 1st to be with her, it really cannot be both.

One of the shockers for me while the pages were flying by was when TM said GBC told her Allison was missing -- 'he sounded disturbed'

TM then told the court that GBC replied ' It's nothing -- blah blah'

NOTHING ?

the thing is.. she BELEIVED it all!!.. she still does!!.. I want to know if she was embarrassed even by telling it.....

whats the betting that Gerard told the other women the same thing, word for word. 'my wife is depressed and doesn't sleep with me'..

Another classic LINE. "I Get no sex etc at home. We haven't slept together for years." Poor me. Such a nice chap and all. With the next bit of classic. " Perhaps you could help me out."

Narcissistic women trade sex for power

so do narcissistic men

TM's a minor casualty, although I'm not holding my breath waiting for her to realize that

Top photo always seemed to me to be more of a candid shot, whereas the lower photo seems professionally retouched. But yes, she does appear older and more as she'd appear in the flesh in the top photo

Wonder how she's looking now? The artists impression of her at the committal hearing (?) was a real shocker -- like something from Dicken's London mean streets

Was he paying her rent?
How could she afford to sit at home waiting.

4:28pm: The court has heard at some stage after the affair ended, Ms McHugh started exploring employment options overseas and Mr Baden-Clay was very encouraging.
"I didn't want to be sitting at home waiting," she told the court.
"And it was apparent, I suggest, that he didn't want you sitting at home waiting either," Mr Byrne said.
"Maybe so," Ms McHugh replied.
