I wonder why they've only mentioned the bone marrow and liver samples that were sent to Dr John? I'm pretty sure they also sent lung tissue - which would be much more telling, especially if there were NO diatoms in there...

To clarify - that would imply STRONGLY that she was dead before she hit the water

Would also imply that at no point was she completely submerged.

Dr John would have definitely expected to see diatom species if Allison had drowned in Kholo Creek #badenclay

David Murray ‏@TheMurrayD 39s
Dr John concluded Allison did not drown in Kholo creek or anywhere. No evidence of drowning at all #badenclay

It sure sounds like all his mates are cut from the same cloth as gbc, I wonder if they have some sort of code regarding mistresses too. So they can all play 'happy families' without too much distractions on the weekends.

Poor Allison. How some of these people can still keep harping on about depression is beyond me. Even A quadruple dose of Zoloft would have had me depressed being around that lot.

Mr Cranna says it was a loan, he put no term on the loan. He says he doesn't remember the interest rate. #badenclay
It must be nice to be in a position to loan someone $90000 and not really care when it is paid back. And to not remember what the interest rate was and not to bother to get the agreement signed.
Meanwhile others are worrying about paying their electricity bills. I think GBC was seeing his close friends living this life and wishing he was part of it.

12:58pm: Professor Wallman has been excused.

The 59th witness Dr Jacob John, who has spent 35 years researching microscopic algae called diatoms, has been called to give evidence by phone.

Dr John examined water samples from Kholo Creek, where Mrs Baden-Clay's body was found, as well as a piece of her bone and a sample of her liver.

That's it, boys - try to discredit the expert witness with 35 years experience in a subject that has nothing whatsoever to do with pathology, and whether or not he is a pathologist is completely irrelevant! Good one...!

Mr Cranna: in 22 year friendship we had competitions with each other to see who could grow the most facial hair #badenclay
