Gerard became equal partners with Phill Broom and Jocelyn Frost, who was then the No 1 Century 21 agent in Qld #badenclay

I know we are getting his own opinion, but he comes across to me as a controlling person. "I found out the sex" dispute Allison wanting to. I contacted the psychiatrist to give him the heads up about the Babis sex. I did this ect ect. Not we did this we did that...

Broom and Frost paid $25k each to become partners, money paid off a loan from Gerard's friend #badenclay

Gerard says Allison didn't cope on her own with the kids in the mornings and evenings so he'd help #badenclay

Gerard says Allison "was at a point where she as throwing all of her energies into the children". Getting progressively better. #badenclay

Gerard says Allison was able to take the children to ballet but "it took a lot out of her" emotionally and physically. #badenclay

I agree! And odd to have a scan to determine sex of the child but only tell the father because the mother doesn't want to know! Very strange!

I do know a couple who did that as she wanted a surprise and he didn't.

I'd love to get verification of how often this actually happened

Yep, his story is starting to fall apart in my opinion.

Gerard says he would still get calls to go home. Often "it was just a hand off" and he would look after the girls. #badenclay

Gerard: Allison just had no interest in any physical intimacy at all. Says he didn't want to force her or put her under pressure.

So let me get this straight... Allison became pregnant, but their sex-life was non-existent?

That's either "Hail Mary" or he's about to imply that Allison was playing away from home...

And Marly - with great respect (I mean that) - the blog post from GBC that you snipped because it was a quote from a blog, I would have thought it was important to be posted here? It wasn't a blog just quoting somebody's opinion on something - it was the words of the accused himself. Surely that would qualify for being allowed to remain here?

I think what GBC wrote in that blog was HIGHLY important, and completely contradictory to all this guff he's spouting at the moment.

I got the impression he meant she was willing to sleep with him once he agreed to have another baby but not before. ?

Dr George said after the delivery of the baby she was disappointed but expressed to him that she was mostly concerned for her husband, who she thought had wanted a boy.

And that sounds like the true story. So the birth of Adam's baby that the defence are implying could be the catalyst for suicide because it's the best they've got, makes no sense as it wasn't Allison that was desperate for a boy anyway. Would have been more likely that GBC would have been the upset and potentially suicidal one with the birth of the baby boy. But no he wasn't because it's a ridiculous argument in the first place.

10:30am: Their third daughter was born in September 15, 2007.

"She's just such a beautiful little girl," Mr Baden-Clay said sobbing, again.

"I just can't imagine life without [our third daughter] so I'm really we did have her."

He said Allison was initially disappointed at not having a son, but eventually bonded with the baby.

I get that... But I sort of meant if it was supposedly such a big deal to Allison why would he find out but not tell her... Just seems strange in that context.

Gerard says they had started a fledgling property management business. He asked Toni to look after it. #badenclay
