The Dogs

With the new info reported by WINK that the dogs were kept in the garage, sadly they probably didn't have any doggie door (at least in the garage area) access to the yard. If its the same door we saw LE processing at the crime scene anyway.

But, as someone already pointed out if the dogs were in the garage, how could MS drive so quickly into the garage?

I think it was posted that it was a mistake, that he didn't drive into the driveway yesterday if that's what you're thinking of. #86? Did I miss that he came back again? I'm sorry, I'm looking again.

You're right. Sadly, we saw no doggie door from garage to backyard. :(

Okay, not to upset anyone further, but it's been another eventful day. All television stations have been set up this afternoon on Jarvis; however, they had all left except WINK when one of the dogs got out of the Siever's gate. It took off in a full run toward E. Terry, which is extremely busy and our concerns were that it would be hit. Luckily, it did finally return and went back in the gate. The problem is, no neighbor, or the news people want to go on that property and touch anything!!!

I did just hear from my family that WINK did a good report on the 4:00 news regarding what has been going on in the past couple of days at the Siever's home. I did not have time to look for the link and maybe it's already on the other threads...or someone can post for me. I'm not going to be available much more today, but just keeping you informed. I am not in the immediate area, so I hope that someone will come and get these dogs!! Sorry for the quick post and maybe typos!!

This is one of the dogs outside the gate.

Oh, how we appreciate you and what you're doing mckaapm! :D Thank you so much and thank your FM for us, please? Please know that you don't upset anyone. Lots of us get excitable about all kinds of things.

Exactly what I was thinking about, thank you! Feeling a tiny bit better about the dogs. From what we saw today, at least one of the two is very smart, going back to the yard like a good boy/girl. I hope the garage had a light source at night. Maybe thats why MS kept the spotlights on, it might have created a soft light in the garage. Also never thought I'd be concerned about garage lighting for dogs. Too bright, too dark?!

I could post a thousand words, but nothing would reflect the pain in seeing those dogs alone and/or running loose than that picture. I can only hope that SOMEONE is watching and will finally bring them to safety until this is all sorted out.

And, yes, 2 drive by's (honk, honk), then at the home around 7:00 pm. That is when WINK recorded him zipping into the garage quick. If you look at that video, do you see a dog? I personally don't know. Maybe he saw them on the lens...don't know. Then MS returned another time after that, after 9:00 pm...assuming that was him in the white Mercedes that he has been driving. So, let's just find a temporary home for the animals and this thread can get boring!! PLEASE!! After tomorrow, I will be MIA for a little bit... PapillonLove will have to keep you posted :) Wait for me!!:jail:

There is an update to the WINK News report. Vet saw the dogs today. Dogs are in marginal condition. No citation anticipated. Mark gave officials an explanation for their condition. Listen for yourself.

Didn't see anyone in the car other than Mark Sievers. IMO, impossible for dogs to have been in garage unless they were crated or confined in some way as they would have run out the garage door while Mark was entering and exiting.

Thanks for posting Scout but seems like "old news" since we were privy to live coverage from mckazpm and papillonLove. Just kidding of course- following everyday.

Can someone come & please tend to these poor dogs?
Their condition is degrading to "marginal" according to the link above in Scout's post.

This is like watching a train-wreck in slow motion.

It is so not right.

TS had so many people that loved and cared about her, I hope one of them will step up and help MS with these dogs.

Please don't tell me LE's "strategy" is to continue to monitor the lack of care to the dogs to the point worse than "marginal" so they can arrest MS for cruelty to animals. And then the ensuing pressure/questioning can be applied?

Please tell me that I'm just thinking warpedly?!!!

We don't need any more victims surrounding this tragedy already!!!

Someone help these dogs please!!!

These are family companions that are probably traumatized too---a five minute pop-in once or twice a day is not going to cut it. Nope!
:please:

Well, isn't this special!

The old dog is marginal . Left in the garage.

MS schedule is the problem. So just leave the old dog in the garage all day. Who cares! Grrr

I agree. My blood is boiling. There is not one good reason for this. He was responsible and if the media inhibits him from caring for the family dogs he should have made other arrangements-------MONTHS AGO. To me this gives insight into what kind of person he really is-------along with his bizarre behaviour and the envelope which may have his name on it. The clock is ticking, and I hope it is in justice's favor.

At the risk of sounding like a jerk, I would love to know what "schedule" he is referring to. If I understand correctly the practice isn't up and running (and that was his only job), and his children are home schooled by someone other than himself. Even if he does still have work at the office he would make his own schedule (as it doesn't seem there are patients), and if he is homeschooling the children himself now he would still be able to make his own schedule. I don't see any of that as reason to essentially abandon and/or neglect your family pets...

And his excuse about the media - they aren't ALWAYS there...and he can drive right into his garage without interacting with them at all - I would walk through fire with a swarm of angry bees around it to get to my dogs.

I can understand grief, but blaming a "schedule" in my opinion speaks volumes...

I haven't caught up on this thread.. Yet call me cynical for thinking this could be a "set up " butress to any future defense on the situation as to why the alarm was off on that Sunday night .

See ! Proof that dogs can get out and why "keeper " shut off alarm or sensors were changed .

Followed too many trials and yes...cynical point of view sometimes ..

:escape: now as I keep tippy toing around what I wanna say these days ...

Where is that sitting on hands emoticon ?

ETA .. How did the dog get out there is no doggie door at that time? And how did the dog get back in?

Using talk to text with lots of grammar errors !

I will be even more cynical if I find that his parents were the ones that were in charge of the dogs when the family was out of town.

Shades of George and Cindy Anthony ..makes me shiver with dread if so . Iykwim

I have a good idea for MS. If he is too busy and scared of the media, why doesn't he board those fur babies and he wont have to deal with it? If he isnt coming back its insane to leave them unattended like this.

Right....what is his long term game plan; just let the dogs die a long, slow, lonely death?

But that ain't nothin' compared to........
