I couldn't be more proud of those jurors. The trial is going to be a heartbreaker :(

WOW.

I had to step away from this case for a long time, because it was just too much. I come back today and see the grand jury did their job well. Now, let's hope justice is served in the trial and sentencing!

Per CNN - 2 competing theories so that the jury can have a fall back position if they don't follow what the prosecution believes. (thanks for the heads up popsicle). Jean Casaras is on CNN now on it...

Per Jean - Murder one is "intent to kill" in GA. Interlaced with this is communication with minor during the "criminal episode". Per Jean, Defense may state that his mind was on sexting and not on son, so therefore just negligence could be put to jury

It is probably legal/required to release the names of the GJers. The same thing happened in the Ramsey case; they also published photos and background info about each member. It probably depends on the state.

Is it possible that the indictment is using a pseudonym for the minor's name and screen name?

ETA: Actually, this seems unlikely b/c then you would risk the media and public bothering someone who has nothing to do with the case.

I wonder if they warned the minor to delete all social media or at least change her name on them?

I would not expect minor's name or screen name to be a pseudonym in a GJ document unless it was stated as such.

Can someone explain count 6? Is that the sexting?

I doubt it. I have personal experience with Cobb County and securing an indictment against someone who committed a crime against a member of my family who was, and is, a minor. Her (the victim's) name appeared in the indictment, even though she was only 6 years old at the time. The indictment was available on the website, just as Ross Harris's will be once it's posted to the Clerk's office site. I was pretty shocked when I saw it. It's unfortunate. JMO
