I think sometimes things are confiscated to gather information to make an inference that something may have occurred, judging by some of the cases I have read about in last couple of days. The items may just be used for that purpose and not related necessarily to the crime, I could be wrong, I am just trying to make sense of it like everyone else..

And sometimes things are confiscated just to see if they are related to the crime. Then, once the arrest is made, everything goes silent. So you never find out until trial what the results of the investigation into the confiscated item may have been.

Totally out of the blue question here ... does anyone happen to have a legal address for the farm at 2548 Roseville? (i.e. lot, concession). Thanks !!
