The Joker and others

so as we all know now, Joker's hair is GREEN , but he got orange-red that looks more like Ronald Mcdonald. Any good interpretation out there?

perhaps he got the 2 two mixed up in his mind when he was in the hair coloring isle at Walmart :floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Or perhaps, if there is any connection to the movie Batman, it resides with the previous movie??? I plan on watching that movie this week.

I honestly don't think his crazy haircolor is meant to tie into the Joker.

It's universally known that the Joker has green hair.

He might have just dyed his hair to dye his hair, like many other people his age.

Yeah lots of kids dyed their hair nowadays and the funny thing is i even dyed my son's hair couple weeks ago. It was "dark red" but since his hair was black, it turned out to be dark reddish-brown... i dyed my daughter's hair and i got some extra so we tried it on him too lol..

Do you think he could have dyed it that color just to add to his insanity defense?

Quote from Heath Ledger's death-
http://beginningandend.com/the-dark-knight-rises-shooting-satanic-influence-of-the-joker/
The particular comic that inspired Ledger’s portrayal the most was a Batman comic called “The Killing Joke” written by comic writer and magic practitioner Alan Moore, who has written comics such as The Watchmen and V for Vendetta which are full of Illuminati and satanic symbolism. V for Vendetta in particular not only quotes Satanist Aleister Crowley in several portions but mentions him by name.

It is Heath Ledger and his own decent into an obsession of the joker character nearing madness which is of most interest. Heath could no longer even sleep near the end. After his death an outpouring of sypathy the likes of what has seldom been seen. His secret side was exposed laying bare his hidden demons, generating even more sympathy.

Did Holmes seek to steal the sympathy once felt for and directed at Heath Letcher by inserting himself into the role of the joker at this critical time? In his warped mind did he believe he could redirect all that sympathy love and understanding of ones demons back at himself? Is that why he wanted to live through the experience unlike the others of his ilk who had done the same?

Understanding motive for Holmes actions lay in his choice of role and character and the exact actions he chose to play out in his skit. Start to finish imo..

All the little pieces from all the batman comics and movies are of relevance. Heath Ledger was the first to take the joker character so much deeper into psychotic behaviour. It was by all indication an intoxicating and addictive experience for him.

“Have you ever danced with the Devil in the pale moon light?”
-The Joker (Jack Nicholson in Batman)

http://recycledfilm.net/the-joker/

"The criminal clown had been growing progressively more twisted and nihilistic over the years. The Dark Knight portrayed him at his darkest and most malicious yet—not to mention most criminally successful. Conversely Jack Nicholson’s Joker exemplified a total divorce from reality, such that chaos and creative expression were often one in the same. He always seemed very concerned with how he presented himself to people—perfect appearance, witty retorts, making a great entrance and so forth. Yet, for all his twisted planning and scheming, he never came across as terribly evil. The face of Ledger’s Joker is chaotic and disheveled, not trying to impress as much as intimidate." from the article linked above

Excellent chracter study!
http://recycledfilm.net/the-joker/

Heath Ledger’s portrayal of the Joker in The Dark Knight took the character to its absolute extreme. However, it was also the next logical step in the historical evolution of the character. The criminal clown had been growing progressively more twisted and nihilistic over the years. The Dark Knight portrayed him at his darkest and most malicious yet—not to mention most criminally successful.

The character progression is an interesting aspect in light of the latest. It was almost left as if the last character was seeking his next incarnation, seeking his next vehicle of expression. As if the character development had taken on a bizarre afterlife of it's own.

In conclusion, the film world is now left in the same predicament as in 1989. If someone were to use the Joker in a film ever again, they would have no choice but to totally re-invent him. Yet, after the differing versions given by Jack Nicholson and the late Heath Ledger, where else could they possibly take that character? Perhaps, some day, some one creative and talented enough will think up a new face for the Joker. Until then, fans are left with two of film history’s most memorable performances. The films from which they came will never get old and will still be cherished and discussed when Ben Affleck’s Daredevil and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Iceman have been consigned to oblivion. Although Jack Nicholson may be remembered for many things, the film world will forever hear the echoes of Heath Ledger laughing in the dark.

That dangled lure proved irresistable for our modern day villian. His predisposition to take up the suggestion has foundation. The spirit of the character was brought to life in real time through him as the rising of the character in the movie. Welcome to psycho ville. Beware the door.

Others have noted and are asking questions about the character of the joker and the problems exhibited by Heath Ledger. By all indication Heath Ledger was far more stable and equipped to handle playing the role of the joker than some nerd with a form of personality disorder. Yet he succumbed.

A new comparison study-
http://www.mywesttexas.com/entertai...5-321d-585e-82e6-aec01a26228f.html?mode=print
By all accounts, James Holmes is academically brilliant, just as Heath Ledger was one of the best actors of his generation. The loathsome Holmes leaves a shadow of misery, while the majestic Ledger left a legacy of superb talent tempered by the melancholy thought of what might have been. Holmes is a coward, Ledger had the courage to break one of the last artistic taboos -- playing a gay cowboy.

In the final note, Health Ledger always will be spoken of with love for what he gave to the world, while James Holmes will be remembered with hate for what he took from it.

In an exclusive interview, Pimp My Ride’s Diggity Dave told KNX 1070’s Charles Feldman that a young man who called himself “James Holmes” phoned him in June about his upcoming film, “The Suffocator of Sins.”

Dave wrote, directed and stars in the forthcoming takeoff of the Batman movie, which shows a young vigilante Batman shooting down evil doers. Some have said the YouTube trailer resembles a crowded movie theater. He describes the film as a “very sick and dark twist of the Batman movies.”

In the article-

Dave said Holmes, 24, claimed to have watched the trailer more than 100 times. He was obsessed with the violence depicted in the trailer and dismayed that the film’s character didn’t use bigger guns, according to Dave.

“He would tell me what he really liked about the trailer. He kept pressing if I could give him more information on the story. He wanted to know how many people Batman kills,” Dave said. “He wanted to know if it was selective killing. Does he make a list of people he wants to kill or is it a mass body count?”

Totally unverifiable story and I kind of think that guy is trying to drum up press for his "movie"

I'm starting to think this "Joker" persona developed from a game of telephone amongst officials and news organizations.

"man, it was like he thought he was the Joker!"

turns into

"The Shooter told cops he was... the Joker"

If he really wanted to emulate the Joker so badly, he would have at least gotten the hair right.

The joker donned a red wig in the Dark Knight movie. The movie themes and timetables may have been a real thing and a big deal for Holmes in his plans. His computer records may eventually reflect just how big.

Re the other movie- I have no idea the character and honesty of the supplier of that info, have trouble believeing any even somewhat normal person would use something like this just for publicity. Lowest of the low if he did..

He put on a red wig for like 5 minutes in that movie to break into a hospital in that movie.

If he wanted to be recognized as the Joker, he'd have green hair. His hair has no connection to his crime, I am sure of it. The Joker is universally known as having green hair.

Take a look at the movie he is promoting. He just posted the trailer for it yesterday on youtube.

It is Heath Ledger who used a color very close to that which Holmes chose to dye his hair to match. It is an unusual color to chose and as noted, not the customary joker hair color. Again wondering if it were more Heath Ledger Holmes was emulating and playing into?

The nurse even a cry for help? His mother was a nurse. Why call yourself the joker and pick that color? If no mistake or coincidence, whats that say? And, when taken into custody, head covered from view, did he have joker makeup on?

Joker or Mad Hatter ?

The Mad Hatter is a fictional character, a supervillain in the DC Universe who was an enemy of Batman.

Like other Batman villains, the Mad Hatter has become a darker character over the years. The Mad Hatter is depicted as a scientist who invents and uses technological mind-controlling devices to influence and manipulate the minds of his victims, believing that "the mind is the weakest part of a person". .

Powers and abilities

While the Mad Hatter has no inherent superpowers, he is a brilliant 'neurotechnician' with considerable knowledge on how to dominate and control the human mind, either through hypnosis or direct technological means

Hah, the Hatter looks more female than male. But now that you mention it, her roots are a little dark.
