The Key: Planted or Not? Impact?

A Toyota ignition key adjacent to a night stand,

REALLY?!

I thought the stand had to be shook, twisted and rattled, or whatever the hell to get that KEY to fall out? That the KEY wasn't in plain sight?
How the story changes in the warrant pdf's

Can't really " scrub " a lanyard, right?
Or if there is just hers on that lanyard. Cause I am pretty sure the cops were in plenty of supply of evidence gloves they used to plant the evidence. They sure didn't want to be caught planting it.

Did you note the dates on the two warrants for when the key was found. One says 11-7 the other 11-8.

that's it exactly. The fact that Kratz would even suggest that it didn't matter if the key was planted is unbelievable. If the key was planted, that means that someone attempted to frame Avery. Period, end of story. Reasonable doubt.

I thought the odd part was that Kucharski found it.

They also never stated that SGT AC was there on the third. You know they were trying to make the appearance that Man. Co. wasnt involved, but they very much were. Why even bother though with appearances when it all just comes out later.

I know. It was all "Deputy Kucharski of Calumet County Sherrif department located..." It should have said "Officers Colburn and Lenk of Manitowoc County Sherrif department located Toyota key and Deputy Kucharski then documented and collected the discovery." I bet they were just trying to save ink.

The RAV4 was located on 11/5 in the morning. Key was located on 11/8.

Between 11/5 - 11/8, did LE ask any of the Avery's (Allan/Chuck/Earl) for ALL of the Toyota keys @ Avery Salvage to test in the RAV4 and if not, why not ? Not sure how many vehicles were on the lot, but most certainly some had to be some Toyotas.

I thought I read there was 3800 cars on the property.

Did anyone else read that?

It seems a lot, but it was a huge place.

Ive been looking at it on google earth.

Discussed on podcast:

Michael Griesbach on True Murder Podcast
http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=300622

Griesbach says "I'm not an expert on DNA... It's not everywhere, if you touch something it puts DNA & takes away what was there"...
Blames the CSI Effect - but yet SA DNA is magically everywhere.

Hmmm. Link above has my thoughts on podcast & like to audio

The key was first spotted on the floor, not in the slipper. A fresh set of gloves were put on prior to bagging the key so no, they couldn't have transferred his dna from other items they were handling during the search.

The DNA could have been transferred prior to them "finding" the key in one of the prior logged searches.

So you're implying that the cops found the key days before?

Quite possibly, or they found the key elsewhere and put it in the bedroom. Considering who actually found the key and the fact he was deposed in a $36 million civil suit a couple of weeks before, I am open to the idea of the key being planted.

Is there any evidence that the key actually was in SA's bedroom prior to 11/8 ?
