Don't know if this is worse....but it is heartless for sure. KC sending CA to Universal to pick up Caylee on July 3rd so the A's can take her to see the fireworks. CA must have waited for hours and KC knew there would be no Caylee. Talk about cruel.

Can you imagine how much you would have to hate your mother to do that? I have a feeling though, that this was the typical tit for tat game that went on between them. And sadly it cost a baby it's life this time.

OMG!! I thought I knew everything about this case, but I never heard this. She is such a b*tch!! That is beyond cruel! I hate KC

You should go to the calendar and view the events for July 3rd. It is one of the most interesting of the 31 days and proves there were red flags.

I just have to say that my parents were proud of me, despite the typical flaws of a twenty-something. However, if I had not reported my "kidnapped" child missing for 31 days or enlightened my parents that the entire family was in imminent danger, the police would have HAD to come - to pull my parents off of me.

If I spoke or yelled at them in the vicious, downright hateful way that Casey does, I would still be picking my teeth up off the floor. And I would have been simply asked to leave - for good.

That behavior was not tolerated in the least by my parents' generation, nor should it be today.

This is George's pathetic, misguided far-to-late attempt at doing a Casey makeover. All he succeeded in doing is infuriating the general public.

Isn't it amazing that this whole thing could be over in minutes if Casey, George, Cindy and Lee all just tell what really happened to Caylee. They all know. Poof...it would be over just like that.

(I mean I actually know who Ray Judiciay is now!)

I don't know if this belongs here or not but it's something that bothers me. Mods, if it doesn't, please move or delete.

Cindy and George don't seem to have any friends. Where are their supporters? Why hasn't anyone in their community stood with them? Has anyone ever appeared to say anything that could be remotely taken for support? George and Cindy seem to have no one on their side. Even family members have nothing to say. I think that speaks volumes!

Is it remarks, like George being proud of Casey, that drove people away? Is it their behavior or have they never had a circle of friends? I tend to think if they had friends or anyone they could talk to, they wouldn't be acting in such a repugnant manner.

I doubt they have any friends now. Who wants to hang out with liars? But you're right, even CA's Mom isn't on her side. It's really sad!! I do feel for them deep down inside, but they must stop with all this nonsense. It really makes people hate them. Maybe they had friends at one time?? Cindy seemed to have friends at work before all this happened. They even seemed to care about her. She should have taken their advice and called the Police a lot sooner. I think she should have done a lot of things differently. Like stop enabling KC for years and years.

I really believe that George and Cindy were mouthing all that stuff strickly for Casey to see. Bet her attorney makes sure she sees it. I don't think for a minute they really believe what they were saying!! JMO

There is NO record of ANYONE, including family of anyone coming forth and speaking in support for the A's. The only thing we have is the e-mails and the interviews with CA's Mom and bro speaking about the disfunction in that family.

I wonder...

Do GA and CA really think they can change the outcome of the trial by continuing to state things like this...
or...
Maybe if they say things enough times it will be true?
In a way I feel for them...their lives are upside down and on display...even though they caused much of it...it must not be easy to be who they are right now...

Word Mamabear.

What a life they have created for themselves, compelled to defend their monster every moment of every day. It’s like Groundhog Day for them now. They should both be preparing for their retirements, enjoying their family and their days left in the sun. Just look at what they are now -simply pathetic, with no shame at all.

I sleep just fine every night. I'm blessed with a clear conscience and can look people right in their eyes when I talk to them. I see my family all the time and can lean on them in times of trouble. I don’t have to be prepped by an attorney, or depended on blood money to pay my way. The Anthonys could reap a billion dollars from this nightmare, and I’d still be a richer person in what really matters in life than they will ever be.

I'm sure he is proud, she is just like him.

EXactly SuziQ~Most people think KC is like CA. I don't agree. She inherited all her bad traits from her Dad,IMO. CA stayed with a man she didn't want to be with to avoid splitting assets. I think she is just a very bitter woman.

Exerpt of GA's FBI Interview (taken from video transcript of NG's show in Nov08):

GA: As far as other moneys that my daughter was taking, she took a small quarter coin collection that I had. And I know she has been taking money from my granddaughter`s bank because I`m always dropping a buck, 5 bucks, quarters. You know, one day you go in there and that bank is heavy. And it`s a good-size piggy bank. And you know you put money in there. You know it. There`s nothing. She`s taken money from my wife`s purse...Twenty dollars, forty dollars, maybe more than that at a time.

FBI: You started to use the word there that you hesitated in -- you started to say -- you stopped.

GA: Steal.

FBI: Is that how you feel about it or is that how your wife feels about it?

GA: Yes.

FBI: Is there any doubt in your mind that`s what she was doing?

GA: No because we have all the information that she`s done it.

FBI: OK.

GA: Three deposit slips that she had -- she had forged a deposit slip for $4,400.

FBI: -- with her mother`s name on it?

GA: Yes, with our account.

NG: "Let`s unleash the lawyers...Susan Moss, weigh in."

SM: "She stole money from Caylee`s piggy bank? What, was she buying chloroform with nickels?" :applause::bow::woohoo:

Yeah George, KC would make any Papa proud. :thumb::hand: Prosecution has no need to worry about any of GA & CA's recent revision of the early facts in this case. They've got all the tapes they need to prove them to be liars at trial.

Yep and don't forget July 3rd was also when CA posted the infamous post on her myspace about just how unproud CA was of KC then. I think it's good to reread her words every so often to realize how much has changed in the A's world as far as reality, truth, spin and lies go:

She came into my life unexspectedly, just as she has left me. This precious little angel from above gave me strength and unconditional love. Now she is gone and I don’t know why. All I am guilty of is loving her and providing her a safe home. Jealousy has taken her away. Jealousy from the one person that should be thankfull for all of the love and support given to her. A mother’s love is deep, however there are limits when one is betrayed by the one she loved and trusted the most. A daughter comes to her mother for support when she is pregnant, the mother says without hesitation it will be ok. And it was. But then the lies and betrayal began. First it seemed harmless, ah, love is blind. A mother will look for the good in her child and give them a chance to change. This mother gave chance after chance for her daughter to change, but instead more lies more betrayal. What does the mother get for giving her daughter all of these chances? A broken heart. The daughter who stole money, lots of money, leaves without warning and does not let her mother now speak to the baby that her mother raised, fed, clothed, sheltered, paid her medical bills, etc. Instead tells her friends that her mother is controlling her life and she needs her space. No money, no future. Where did she go? Who is now watching out for the little angel? "

The power of denial is very strong, and I think this case bears this out. As long as they keep denying, they can stand to face another day. I've always thought that they just couldn't bear to face the truth and that was why they behaved as they did. But their denial is costing them a dear price, because it certainly isn't helping KC's case. I am assuming they have competent counsel at hand (BC), and am amazed that he has not done more to rein them in. While understandably that would be a challenge, it is necessary, because making remarks like George being proud of KC and Cindy saying KC would be considered Mother of the Year only makes them look like they are out of touch with reality, or even worse, that they are fools.

Very dysfunctional families often isolate themselves from others to hide their dysfunction. Whether it's something as ignominious as incest or domestic violence, or as insidious as addiction, or maybe just run of the mill squalor, the family members know that their lifestyle is aberrent or off-kilter and seek to hide the flaws. As much as Cindy tries to paint a pretty picture of her family life, she surely knows that it won't stand being held up into the light of day. She tried to ignore the obvious signs of an advanced pregnancy at a family wedding. How she must hate that the truth about George's money mishandling and KC's thefts from family and friends are now common knowledge. The Anthony freak flag is flying high now, but I'm sure even back in the day others were aware something was amiss. Why else did Cindy have only once a year contact with her brother Rick? And aren't George's parents now in FL too? Where are they in this debacle? They too lost a family member, and yet not a peep is heard. There are reasons; we've heard about the plate glass window. What else transpired to isolate and alienate?

That being said, I'm sure that many people would have been willing to offer support but for th fear of being labeled a Kool-Aid drinker too. Susan Smith's mother found comfort in her church and in her community because she acknowledged the horror her daughter set forth and her own role in it. She still supported her daughter without making ludicrous claims as to her innocence. And even Susan admitted her deeds, albeit after a few frantic days of denial.

People champion underdogs. People understand accidents; they can learn to forgive flashes of violent anger or even callous neglect if there is sincere regret and a willingness to accept responsibility and understand that there will be a price to pay. People don't like being played and manipulated, having their heartstrings tugged for LOLZ, and being made to look like a patsy. The Anthonys refusal to face the mounting pile of evidence that KC is guilty has cost them community support, and may wind up costing KC her life.

Makes them look like? Do you mean proves?

I keep wondering if they are doing it because they WANT her to be convicted but don't have the b@lls to go against her the "right" way.

I think they might actually have invented a new KC for themselves, and really believe she exists.

This reminds me of the first season of "the sopranos" Tony's mom would always refer to Tony's dead father as "a saint" and Tony challenged her saying, "when he was alive he was never a saint."

I think the Anthony's have martyred KC and honestly believe their new version of events.

Very well could be! Black and white thinking. Kinda a funky type of "splitting"?

i'm starting to think that maybe they actually have convinced themselves that kc is innocent. They seem to have been denying the facts about her to themselves and others all her life. They're in so far over their heads now, they have not only had their darling granddaughter wrenched out of their lives, but are putting the well-being and the good works of others at risk. I hope this will be a wake-up call for them.

I know my sense of reality was skewed when my son died and he just died in his sleep. Yes, it was and still is horrible, but i didn't have all this other stuff to deal with too.

Now friends, don't get your shorts in a tangle - no way do i think they should be out there yapping and somewhere inside they must know they are lying, but, idk, i just think they really can't accept reality - i still deal with that sometimes after 3 years.

whatever is going on with them, they need serious mental health care - whether for dealing with the truth, grief, and/or compulsive lying. They are very sick people.

ita!!

Excellent post! I couldn't snip a word. Their families being out of sight for so long is pretty telling. I believe if they allowed friends and family into their lives, they would be acting far more rationally. They wouldn't have to look to the public for pity or understanding. Their performances have NOT won me over. Quite the opposite! I'm just trying to understand why they seem to chose this isolation. I do believe it's a choice and your post gave me some good insight.

It seems the more the A's are alienated and shunned for their behavior the more it reinforces it and they look inwardly and ....it gets worse. While low key these interviews were the worst in terms of being out of touch and citing a family portrait that just does not exist. Everyone externally sees through the charade but they don't.

I guess George forgot about the stroke she wished on him last year around this time. Every Father's dream I'm sure! :)
