The Letters and the Secret Evidence

(Respectfully)Nah. She doesn’t have Dissociative Identity Disorder. She is “out of it” because she chooses to live in her own self-delusion. Her behavior is textbook Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
http://psychcentral.com/disorders/sx36.htm

I think you misunderstood my post. I don't think she has DID. DID Is dissociation to the extreme. Everyone dissociates from time to time (like while driving, not recalling the actual drive). Dissociation is present in other illnesses besides DID- such as Borderline, PTSD, Panic disorder, OCD.. You tune out and shut off (not create another identity as with DID) in order to get through whatever your stressor may be.

ITA with you though that Casey shows some massive narcissistic tendencies. I recognize some symptoms of pretty much every personality disorder there is in Casey but I seriously doubt she has each disorder she shows symptoms of. I think much of what is wrong with her are poor coping tools, learned behaviors.. crappy choices by a selfish, entitled 12 year old child who's rebelling against her mother using the life of a child she can only think of as a toy, a doll, something cute to play with and get attention from (because WTF is love to someone who chose to forget how to feel years ago?) in a (23?) year old woman's body and not actual disorders.

It's true, I don't think Casey is sick in the way everyone else here does-I think she is damaged. Beyond help? yeah probably. But I get how it happened and I don't only see bad in her.. I can look at her as she who she could have been had George grown b@lls years ago. Had her mother allowed her to grow into a person- I get what she meant when she told LE she was terrified of her mother finding out. But if she did this she should fry because I also know that she had a choice, she is of sound mind. If you read my posts you'll know I'm the last person who'd say she has DID, believe me!!

I took the time to read the whole thread so far and enjoyed everyone's posts. I was a trustee at both the county and state levels, sad to say.

In all me posts and blogs here at WS I portray the guards in what I feel to be a truthful way. The vast majority are professional guys and gals who do their shift and go home. That being said, there is a minority that make vast sums of cash 'running things in', especially at the county level. Rant, rave, stick your fingers in your ears and go 'la la la la' but one fact remains, at the county level the overwhelming majority of contraband is introduced into the population by the guards. As far as letters go, that is the toss up. We would write our girlfriends or family, in a real code **ahem**, and have it done that way. I am not sure that Casey has anyone that she could trust enough to do that for her on the outside. Some guards, usually newbies, can be real softees. Punch in 'guard, scandal, female prisoners' into Google or your favourite search engine and see what I mean.

This is not to knock guards. Far from it, I could not imagine doing that for a living. This is aimed more towards the image of incarceration portrayed by TV and movies. Guards are human beings, no more and no less. Some dig the power, some are lifelong bullies who have turned that into a career, but most are just putting food on the table and working their way through this world as honestly as they can. Casey probably found a softee, IMHO.

She's the perfect kind to soften up a softy too!

I think these letters were written prior to her becoming a convicted felon and the mandated probation. If that's the case I don't think they would fall under a parole violation. :waitasec:

I always thought probabtion didn't matter once you are locked up. wtf is probabtion once you are already in jail.. never came across this issue.

ThommyMac.. ? Any idea?!

Each state is different but parole is when they let you out early and lasts until either your 'sentence' finishes or you get in some trouble (hot drug test, no show, etc.) and then really bad things WILL happen. Probation is after you are released and may or may not run the same times as parole. Probation you have to really screw up pretty bad (as in a re-arrest) to get 'violated' and get a 'violation' hearing. Parole you go back to the pen and can potentially re-serve (aye yi yi) your ORIGINAL sentence and then whatever sentence for the offense that brought you back.

Besides the trial, those letters may come up when she gets classified upstate. Considering her PC status and her most likely doing BIG time, the punishment for that would be something for the board to kvetch about. Seriously, besides the evidence value, it is small potatoes as far as a prisoner infraction goes. Some goof/🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 was allegedly writing another prisoner/friend from the bricks about to be released asking him to kill the girl who he allegedly raped. Well, that brought on new charges. Depends on what was written but the penalty for the transmission of letters for the prisoner is (again) small potatoes. Unless you are going to a board soon either for new privileges (re-classify) or parole, that is.

These examples are all based on Pennsylvania but I imagine its is very similar around the Republic.

Sorry for snipping so much of your post ThommyMac. The entire post was excellent! Thank you. :)

I just wanted to 'cut to the chase' regarding KC. You said she probably found a softee. That seems to be her greatest skill - finding someone to exploit and use. :banghead:

bold is mine-
No kidding!!

Yeah, the day she got caught.

Yup I would say you are right on that one. My niece got arrested for drugs in their apartment. After being in jail for two months our pastor went to see her to see if she has maybe come to her senses about drugs. He said to her what would you change if you could change anything about that day and her response was "I was supposed to have left to go to the store but I was running late and had not left yet so I wish I would have been gone to the store then I would not have gotten caught." The pastor left and said she was no where near ready to be out of jail yet because she showed no remorse for the drug use. He thought her response should have been that she wish she had never done drugs and would never do them again. I could see KC making the same type of comment along the lines of "I should not have left the phone number for Amy in my car then my mom would never have been able to find me and I would not be here in jail right now."

Friday will be 15 days since the Judge gave JB 15 days to file a Motion to have the letters withheld. Has anyone checked to see if JB has filed a Motion yet to keep these letters sealed.

I don't know if I'll be happier if a motion to withhold the letters is filed or not. If they do, then it's bad because there might be a chance of us not seeing what's in there. If they don't, they probably don't feel threatened by anything in there (despite the news' claims that it helps to state) and the letters may be good for her case :waitasec:

I've been checking, nothing yet.

Maybe he is a slow reader. Seems funny there have been no more notices for depos. Are they planning on starting anytime soon? I would imagine they would have started scheduling them after the Fraud Trial. I can hear it now: JB to CM, "I thought you were doing the depos?" CM's response: "Nooooooo, that's grunt work. You're suppose to do that." JMO

Well, you know, they have 14 monkeys, I mean Depaul Law Students, probably reading through them, underlining important passages, etc. So that could potentially take awhile to complete since we've seen how good they are at writing motions. Heck, maybe it's just taking this long for the motion to be written, lol.

Are you referring to the Flying Monkeys from the Land of Oz? If so, this could take quite awhile. JMO

ROFL!!!! Wow, if it's them, this could take longer than 15 days...

Oh man you don't know how badly I needed to laugh today. Thanks to you and MissPlum (different thread)!!!

I wonder if they have visited her since the hearing. Any way of finding out if she has had visitors, how many and how often? Could be interesting.

If Casey did con a soft hearted guard in jail then this is just the start of many cons. Pyschopaths are always looking for something to do wrong or get over on someone.

One of the most important tools of the skilled Psychopath/Sociopath...using other humans as pawns on their little chess board of life. :furious:

Besides her attorneys I think if someone went in there to see her, we would hear about it for sure. We have too many spies checking the files. :)

Well, at the least, now JB et al won't be able to claim that she has been the "model prisoner." We will have this even if she gets no real extra punishment.

Man, don't ruin my kiddos favorite movie..now when I see the monkeys they will all be wearing DePaul Law shirts...:waitasec:

LOL...now I'm picturing undercover WS agents in place to keep tabs on Casey...they wear jackets with a big WS on the back in yellow...the mods, I mean the top brass, stand by to get their every message...and agents like Muzikman sneak in and out of the courthouse, getting all the scoops...WS should be an agency, darn it! That would rock!

Dang it, it is too darn quiet...I wish we could plant bugs to know what the heck is going on! Friday can not come fast enough...
