The Letters and the Secret Evidence

Pretty much since she has been incarcerated, she has barely acknowledged them. Andrea did seem to get her to acknowledge them a little bit, but it wasn't much.

There was that one time I remember her turning around and giving her parents a big smile hello, I think you are right and it was when Andrea was there, can't remember when it was though.

Wesh is saying something similar in their 11 PM newscast - Casey bashes her parents quite a bit in these letters.

And Robin Adams interview could prove to be VERY interesting. But we won't see it tomorrow.

Guess she's not too scared of Cindy anymore now that Casey's behind bars. I'll guess she's throwing them under the bus, Cindy made her do it.

I wish! I bet they already have some idea. Surely Baez informed them of the contents and performed damage control. He needs them there supporting her for the case.

They will jump on ANY kind of excuse for her behavior and happily lay down for the bus to ride on thru the muck and mire that Inmate Anthony (kudos to whoever started that phrase) leaves in her wake.

I can hear him now... take this in context, she is in there 23 hours a day with nothing to do.... poor thing, she's just coming up with stuff on the fly... etc. ad nauseum.

Of course it IS Baez. Maybe he didn't even find the time.

I could be wrong about this, but I really don't think Jose and the Anthony's have a good relationship. Cindy and George sought out other attorney's to replace him.

Jose basically said that Cindy was completely over the shock of Caylee being missing when she called 911. That it was not an excited utterance. I'd have to go back and read that motion but it doesn't paint Cindy in a very good light.

I don't think Jose keeps them updated on very much anymore. Maybe at first but he is the one that convinced Casey to not see them. I believe 100% if Casey would accept visits from them, they would be there in a heart beat. They want to see her... she doesn't want to see them... even though they won't admit that.

I had a feeling Casey would have quite a bit to say about her parents. They really haven't helped her case AT ALL. Casey admitted that JB allowed her to watch shows like NG "to get a laugh." So, I am sure she has seen all of her parents media interviews.

I can't wait until tomorrow. Will they be released in the morning??

How many letters are there? TIA.

ETA: nevermind.....I see there are 50 of them......woot! I can't wait till tomorrow!

I think KC has convinced herself and maybe even her parents that if not for CA and GA's comments to the media and LE, KC would not be behind bars right now. In away, she is right. If Cindy had not made that call...If Cindy had not said it smells like a dead body...If GA had not said its a smell you never forget...IF CA and GA stayed out of the spot light while this case was going down...GA's affair (alleged)...KC feels like this is why she is in jail. I think she is angry at her parents and I think that her parents even feel guilt which is why they are not asking her any more tough questions and are trying to pretend to be supportive of her even though they know that she is responsible for Caylee's death.

I think I have found the last date, it was the 2 March 2009 hearing.

13 months with no contact between parents & child? Wow! This really does feel like a domestic violence situation (ie: restraining order) I am not trying to spread rumors, only that this has the same feeling of the "cut off of relationship" once a victim finally flees their perpetrator. IMO.

There may have been a later time but I haven't been able to find it yet and in the above link Andrea was not her lawyer at that time as no death penalty.

No, she's just pissed because her parents didn't do what they normally do - clean up the mess and cover for her. I bet she's convinced herself that she wouldn't be where she is right now if it wasn't for them. I bet she's wishing she had gone along with her original plan and offed them first.

That's not fear, that's hatred, pure and simple. She had no respect for them her entire life, and now she lays all the blame at their feet with the fires of hell in anger behind it. It's all their fault in her mind. And sadly, they are completely buying it.

Who knows, maybe after those letters are revealed, they'll finally wake up and realize what a lost cause she is, that they are better off getting on with their lives than begging for her to even look at them. I thought they couldn't go any lower, but seeing them so desperate for attention from her is the most pathetic thing I've ever seen.

I know parents are supposed to love their children, and I'm not saying they shouldn't love her, but wanting the attention of someone that has destroyed their lives so much and continues to do so is just sick and wrong. What in the world would she have to do to make them actually not want to talk to her or see her? I just don't get how killing Caylee isn't enough for them. I'll never understand that. I bet they'll still be begging for her attention even after the letters are released.

I'm also wondering if that's why Baez doesn't mind releasing them. I don't think he cares one bit about the A's or anything Casey may say about them. If those letters villainize them even more, all the better for Casey's defense. Of course, Casey would have to be credible and believable for that to work, and Baez is the only one who thinks she is. Better for justice for Caylee!

I just hope I'm not disappointed! There needs to be something GOOD there, darnit! I can't wait to read them...I wonder if I should take tomorrow off from work, lol.

How were these letters discovered? What if she talked about the Zanny story being untruthful in those letters? Is this a planned exposure orchestrated by the defense and KC so they can eliminate the Zanny story without KC having to take the stand? Does the defense want them released for this purpose? If not the Zanny issue, then other info helpful to the defense? Maybe it's all nothing, but maybe it is a slick defense trick in the works. I wouldn't put anything past them, they are in dire straights for a defense for her.

These letters aren't so slick, I said right away when I heard about them that this was another attempt by the DUH-fence to sway public opinion as why just now being found out? someone got paid for this and what makes me more 'curious' is, the lady that got suspended just STARTED working at the jail when Casey got in there? a plant? a defense member? just soooooo obviously not just coincidence this happened as it just wouldn't be possible without the help of some others.....just sayin

I want to know if they communicate by letters at all. Cindy said they do, but is it true?

Thank you darnudes.

Anyone know how this tracks with Lee's amazing disappearing act? Theory casting about in search of supporting facts here. :waitasec:

No, never been able to work that out. Lee has never appeared at a hearing and has laid very low for a long time. I always think of Richard G's comment that he was a nice kid stuck in a lousy family. So maybe he is trying to get on with his life.

Guess we'll know tomorrow. I'll be looking for defense agenda in those letters for sure!
I have a feeling they will be more revealing than we think.

I thought that they (George and Cindy) write Casey but Casey does not write back. Of course (in their minds) Casey wants to write them but can't because the jail personel reads everything.

They just don't get it. Casey does not want to talk to them. Casey does not want to see them.

You know, if these letters are really harsh, and I mean REALLY harsh... I think Cindy will officially lose it. What's crazy is that everything Casey has to say about her parents... we may just agree with? Wouldn't that be something?

In all seriousness, they (Cindy and George) didn't look like they had read them yet (if they do bash them). So, I'm thinking that they will get them at the same time we do.

I don't know if I'll get any sleep tonight. I feel like I'm six-years-old on Christmas Eve.

Probably more revealing than Baez thinks...his performance today makes me think that he...um....misses pertinent details, um....often.

If it is some sort of setup/scheme by Baez to paint Casey in a favorable light, it should be pretty obvious given her lack of creativity and below average intelligence. The inconsistencies will stand out like a sore thumb. For example, if she's talking about how Caylee was so important, she loved her more than anything, etc - it will be more than a little suspicious.

I just don't get that 258 pages is a defense plot to make Casey look good. To me, it appears that Casey is just desperate to blab, place blame, fantasize about La Bella Vida, chili, etc., etc....
Each note is on average over 5 pages long...

After all she has and done and said , I am anxious to see what levels we have reached that will finally make them unhappy with her. Should be an interesting day.

I'll say. I just got out chicken to thaw for one of our favorites - crockpot chicken in white wine sauce. DH loves this, and doesn't realize the prep is minimal, the crockpot does the work and I have spent all day online. LOL
