The Letters and the Secret Evidence

I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve...the anticipation is killing me!

It's officially afternoon. 15 minutes past to be exact. What's the hold up?

Dishonoring her parents. Is there are sin this girl will not commit??
It would really up the ante as to how far the A's will go to protect her. They have tirelessly campaigned to the world how they were perfect parents, a perfect family with a perfect daughter. Will CA be willing and able to take the fall as a "bad parent", or worse, to save KC? It will be a severe blow to her. I have often thought CA was more driven to save her own image as a perfect mother/family than to save KC.

Apparently not!!! I mean, she already killed her beautiful daughter so I guess anything else is just cookies.

I wonder if Kathi B will be able to snag these letters for us.

My interest in the letters has peaked since yesterdays announcements. Mowed the lawn early this am, shower is done and I'm sitting on the porch patiently waiting for the thread to explode.

Even my dogs are being quiet while waiting. Coffee pot has brewed for a second time. waiting ...... waiting .......

I think we should have a poll of how many times Caylee is mentioned in these letters. 50 or so letters...258 pages, and I bet Caylee's name isn't mentioned 10 times. I bet she complains about her mom in most of them and the "lack of support" and how everybody has done her wrong. How many times do you think she will actually name Caylee?

welllll...I know some of you think that CA & GA will act like the contents of the letters don't phase them..they are impervious to anything and everything! River Cruz? No problem! HOWEVER--these letters may burst CA's little imagined bubble that KC is really just "misunderstood" and kinda cranky (we don't understand KC like CA does!)--These letters, if they are super-hateful toward CA may really change CA's unshakeable "support". I can not wait to see them!--I want to bet that CA might very well finally "take a clue". Wouldn't that be amazing??

"Yes, thank you, Pat. I'd like to buy a clue, please...."

:waitasec: It is driving me nuts wondering what is in these letters. It is being reported that the Prosecutors said the letters contain information that is relevant to the murder charges, yet Baez did nothing to keep the letters out of the publics view. It is also being reported that Casey had negative things to say about her parents, but I don't see how that would be relevant to to the Murder charges.

State prosecutors have said the letters contain information that is relevant to the murder case against Anthony, but do not contain a confession.

Honestly? My guess would be a big fat zero. Definitely under 10....but I think I'll be tremendously surprised if I see Caylee's name once.

It will be interesting to see where these letters take us. What could she possibly say about them?? Will it all be a rambling, "my parents never loved me" sad story (they never visit, they don't understand me, yada yada). Or will it be "planted" bits here and there about parental abuse or her dad's alleged affairs, or just a young person's rant about being under her mother's thumb? I'm afraid I'm going to be disappointed and it's going to be an assorted array of teenage-like rantings.

What strikes me is WHY is she so damned mad at them? They are the only two people she supposedly has left in the world to sit in her corner, and she won't even acknowledge their presence?? She really must be crazy.

O/T

What a husband doesn't know can't hurt them. LOL! My husband I were already married three months when he came home from work early one day to find a stranger in our house. Of course he demanded to know who she was, and she explained to him she is the maid, and had been my housekeeper for about six years now. LOL!!! I cannot be in four places at once, so I do what my Gram taught, prioritize, do the best I can and if I need help...get it and BE HAPPY! I got the biggest kick out of your "Febreeze saves the day". Too, too funny!!! That is going to last me well into the weekend.

You. Are. Brilliant! Your Gram sounds like a smart woman!

Luckily, I got a ton of stuff done around the house yesterday so I am good for a bit, LOL, that is my MO - work like a beaver when I can/mood hits, then I can coast the rest of the week.

A secret maid. I LOVE it. (and just might look into this one).

I think what I am most interested in seeing... and this is if these letters are in this time frame... is the nature of her mindframe before the remains were found and after the remains were found.

Oh, and I will say less than five times that Caylee's name is mentioned and it will only be mentioned because she "can't discuss the case."

I think that Casey's blatherings, while her guard is down and she is saying whatever pops into her miind, might show where her head is/was at--the same way an excited utterance does.

Any revealing of tensions between her and Cindy, like Shirley's statement that Casey could have hated her mother more than she loved Caylee, is important because getting even with Cindy is a possible motive. Showing that there is competition between Cindy and Casey and that Casey would never let Cindy "win" by letting her have custody of Caylee closes the door on one of Casey's alternatives to ridding herself of her burden (Caylee).

Besides revealing how much Casey doesn't like her mother, there is a chance the notes might also show how man-crazy Casey is. Since Casey was accordiing to Casey, "in love" with a man who didn't want girl children and that wouldn't let Caylee spend the night, notes revealing desperate man-craziness might also be damaging. Ann Rule opined in her last book that Casey killed to get 'perfect love'. Casey instant messaged a friend that real love was worth pain.

The local news just said that the letters will be released sometime after 1:00

Apparently she's not kind to her parents in these letters which is what makes me want to see them more!

Me too, meee too! I'm hoping she "tells" (though I realize anything she "tells" could just as likely be a lie as the truth) her pen pal what she assured her parents she didn't tell the jail shrink way back when... as well as a few other things. I'm going crazy waiting on these darn things to be released to us!!
