The Letters and the Secret Evidence

It will be the first extensive look into her thoughts since she was arrested in October 2008 on the murder charge and put into protective custody at the Orange County Jail,” Pipitone said.

On WESH, Eryka Washington said, “This is the first time we’re getting a glimpse of Casey’s life behind bars.”

Washington added that defense attorney Jose Baez did not object to the letters’ release because he says there’s nothing incriminating on them. “However, we are told Casey spends a lot of time bashing her parents, George and Cindy Anthony,” Washington said.

WFTV anchor Greg Warmoth said of the letters, “Investigators told Eyewitness News they do contain damaging evidence against her … but Casey’s defense team says they are not afraid of what’s in those letters.”

WESH also reported that Anthony’s defense team is headed to Washington today to depose FBI analysts.

Having a hard time holding my piece but I wondered when that was going to come up.

It wouldn't be a stretch. I have long suspected some very ugly undercurrents in that family. A lot of the dynamic could be explained if that is so but that gets none of us any closer to why that spoiled brat did what she did.

If the letters include this type of stuff, I would lean towards the letters being a set-up. She's spent a lifetime manipulating others....perhaps I've always believed that she wrote these letters knowing full well that they'd be made public one day. And we'll never know whether it's true or not, will we? Admissions from a cronic liar can't really be considered admissions, can they?

Media has made a purchase at the clerk's office, just don't know if its the letters or not.

I have a step daughter very similar to Casey and her father could not be more blind to whom she really is. All of her troubles are bad luck, they just did not like her, everyone is against her. Even when she signed herself out of high school he claimed they were so hard on her she needs special attention, when she gets fired they didnt train her I mean it goes on and on to this day and shes 35.
I have a friend whose brother was a full-blown sociopath. Parents knew it but somehow couldn't refuse him anything. Enabling to the max. Before their death they told my friend everything 100% would be left to him but made him promise he would give nothing to the brother and not help him at all unless it involved psychiatric help. They wanted him cut off and wanted the other son to do what they just couldn't do. Very sad actually, but he did it - endured pure hell from his brother, but he did it.

I will find it more incriminating, if the video shows her with a po'd look on her face saying something like " oh crap ", then if she fell apart.

I know she didn't have the same reaction when the toys and chicken bones were found, but the news didn't say the "remains of what appears to be a child " were found at that time.

I maybe missing something please feel free to tell me what I am might be missing when it comes to the video.

I believe, it goes to state of mind/consciousness of guilt! She asked for a sedative, no one knew for sure this was Caylee's remains they found but Inmate Anthony did, IMO...for she knew where she put her! I'm sure at trial this video will become evidence. The jurors will see her reaction, knowing she didn't alert anyone of her child who was allegedly abducted or not returned, depends on which story they stick with at trial if they do stick with one.

When LP found those bag of bones at Little Econ River and then some evidence at JBPark, she had no reaction that we know of. I do believe her reaction will be damning..

JMHO

I read your post to my husband and he said "ask her for the recipe" ... he's not kidding because I can't cook chicken worth crap. He say's you can't screw anything up in a crockpot. :) Soooo how's about sharing?

Hey friend , since we are going nuts waiting I will share one of my silly domestic diva stories . I had never, and I do mean...never cooked a thing the first time my husband invited his folks over to dinner and announced it to me. We were newlyweds. What is a girl to do? The only thing I could think of was to get out the lovely bowls and dishes we received for wedding presents and the platter, and hurry to display the food I had picked up at my favorite place. Presentation is important, right? Still in my suit I wore to work that day, I was in a hurry trying to change when to my surprise they arrived nearly 45 ,minutes early! Who does that? My inlaws do , that's who. More on that later.

It never occurred to me that they would walk up the side and enter through the back door ( apparently that is what they always do at their home ). It didn't even cross my nervous mind that I had all of the to boxes right out there where I had tossed them , planning to pack the garbage later after they left.

At the end of the evening, my new, new mother in law whispered to me, Julia, honey, I'll come over on Sundays and help you for a few months. "With what?" I asked. Cooking lessons she said with a wink. So rather than just have one unfortunate poorly cooked meal with them that would have been over in two hours, I had to endure a month of Sundays learning how to cook meals the way "her Joey" likes them. I decided to just turn on the oldies put on my new, new apron and try to have a sense of humor about it.

If only I had known about this cool crock pot, throw the food in and leave it idea you all are sharing....I would have had all the right answers, so where gals have you been all my life?

where are they already?

I do think there may be some shed of truth in them, not much though.

I think by the time we break down the 250 pages, there will be 75 pages worth of actuallys and honestlys!

Don't forget the absolutelys!LOL!

Yep! It's gonna be all about the Po-Po "misshhhhconstruued" things, and "ABSOLUTELY" how "truly, truly" she has been wronged. Poor thang has had everything TAKEN from her *poke-poke eye...shed a tear to drop on letter* and she can hardly "schwallow" her throat hurts so bad.
Waa waa it's so bad for MEEEEEEE.....

Gag.

And I bet she didn't leave out that she thinks "my parents are a waste....a hugh waste!"

OK Friends.....seeing as we're stuck waiting on the release.....I'm going to start passing a few plates of snacks and beverages down the rows. Please just take a few things and then pass it to the next person. We have a lot of friends waiting with us!!! Here comes the first plate....an assortment of girl scout cookies :) followed by some lovely scones and a nice fruit and cheese platter. Be careful, the coffee and tea (and chai--my favorite!) is hot.

I think Baez probably dictated them to her. Just another underhanded ploy. We will soon be able to tell.

Don't be afraid to venture into the Jury Room. A great place to get to know each other on a more personal level :)

And that's why she is the way she is. IMO. (please know that I'm not judging, I was raised the same way.. never held accountable. When I'd get in trouble at school my mom would go fix it, requiring hardly an apology from me to get me back into school.. when I was arrested, my mother would show up yelling at and blaming LE, I was never required to have a job, or wash a dish or my own clothing, she bought my ciggarettes, let me use her car whenever I wanted.. when I had a suspended license! but mine pulled "Cindy" stunts too. I didn't get my sh! together till I was 30)

They think it's loving and protecting their child, they think it's unconditional love but nothing could be further from the truth.. they are creating little Casey's, though rarely will any of them actually kill. Most just never grow up, can't hold jobs and suck dry every person they ever "love"... demanding their parents "parent" (you know, get them out of trouble, give them a home and money, raise their kids etc) them till the day they die.

It's a sad thing

Drinking Spicy Seattle Chai from Market Spice now! My favorite. Was in Seattle last week and restocked:)
Waiting patiently for those letters.. and waiting... and waiting..

Hey, I'm a gator, too. Are you a fan or alumnus?

I spent 4 years there but ended my degree at USF, but we are Football Boosters and have had season tickets for 10+ years, so they consider me alum!!:)
Heading to the Orange and Blue game Saturday!!

this is maddening waiting on these letters.....hopefully we won't be disappointed.

Attorney Beth Karas was just on CNN saying that Casey's letters include her describing that she misses her daughter, according to Casey's lawyer, and small talk between women. Does anyone have that interview with KB and CM on InSesion yesterday?
