I bet KC has some juicy commentary regarding her atty! Just a guess, but I think we will read statements of how she had or still has a crush on Jose....."he's so cute, and funny"

As a trustee, I would be with another guy (usually Daryl B.) when we took chow or linen exchange back to the PC area. Those cats were so desperate not to be seen as snitches/perverts that they would 'tip' us with ramen or pop-tarts for not messing with their chow, etc. I was never openly 'mean', having me own problems, so not mean=friendly to those PC folks. They would tell me their life's story whenever we went back to their area. Keep in mind, they get yelled at by the rest of the pod whenever the guard lets them.

The girl she got to be friends with was either a trustee or their cells shared a wall so they can talk through the vents. At the county lock up I was at, the PC cells were the same as us workers. Being a pre-fab, the single cells had holes where the second bunk's bolts were supposed to go. Since that pod architecture seems to be darn near universal from watching 'Cops', et al. I would not be surprised if they shared a wall between their cells and talked through the bolt hole. (Solitary aka 'The Bucket' is the same way)

Using the guard as the intermediary is the 'hmmmm' factor that makes me think the woman was a trustee who was nice to Casey when she brought the chow back. As a trustee the guards got to know us pretty well and, with the right sob story, would cut us favours no other inmates could expect. If I had to bet, the guard is what makes me think the other woman was a trustee and NOT a fellow PC.

If THAT was the case, she could of stood by Casey's cell door and BSed with her all day. Just sharing some experience most folks, hopefully, never get to be a part of.

"Adams, who is now in federal prison, was a trusted inmate who was caught passing letters between cells while she was entrusted to clean the dormitory."

Breaking News: A jail guard was just suspended for allegedly delivering letters Tot Mom wrote behind bars to other inmates including a convicted drug dealer & gang member! This as reports emerge that the secret jail letters may become public soon! Did Tot Mom slip-up & incriminate herself in her daughter Caylee's murder? Nancy Grace has the latest breaking developments every night!

NG will be discussing the letters tonight!

Thanks for the heads-up. :) Ya know everything NG talks about is a BOMBSHELL (in her own mind) but everyone here is 20 paces ahead of her. lol.

How can she be discussing the letters when no one in the media has a clue what they say?

The courts dont use business days so the 15 days would be 15 straight days which would be Friday but he will now have until Monday if court is closed on Friday.

Actually in some jurisdictions they do. Well not business days but "court days". Federal districts used to do this pursuant to FRCP Rule 6. Any deadline less than 11 days would be calculated in COURT DAYS not straight calendar days. Although it's moot now since on Dec. 1, 2009 they amended those rules to include weekends and holidays and make everything due in increments of 7 (ie. 7, 14, 21 etc.).

But my point was that some jurisdictions only count Court Days. I'm not familiar with Florida State Courts though.

Here's how it was done:
A jail guard felt sorry for Casey Anthony and another inmate at Orange County Jail and helped the two exchange letters, WESH-Channel 2 reported tonight.
Guard Silvia Hernandez befriended inmate Robyn Adams and helped Adams communicate with Anthony through a small vent and hide letters in a common area, WESH’s Bob Kealing said.
Hernandez reportedly received nothing from the two women, and because of that, the toughest punishment she faces is losing her job, Kealing added.

I expect to see KC writing like a criminal...jail lingo and how the government is out to get them all. Maybe she writes about the case....but surely not Caylee.

People with racing minds like KC's write constantly...I'll bet she has a journal.
Filled with lies and poo of course.

I agree with all of the above post - that it will be silly stuff like about the food etc but there is supposed to information related to the case:

"A source who has read the letters told WESH 2 that the communications do contain some "bombshell" information."
And
Deputies said the inmate recounted conversations with Anthony during an interview that are relevant to the case, but are "not in the nature of a confession."

Maybe she tells defense strategy or tells her where she was staying with Caylee after she left the house...after a fight with CA?

I really want to read these letters

I would think that whoever had the letters probably made copies. If JS were to seal the letters, wouldnt that make them worth even more to the holder of the copies. I mean everyone would want to see them even more if they are sealed which would bring way more $$$. I know I WANT to see them to see what her state of mind has been while locked up and to see how often if at all she mentions Caylee. Since KC wrote the letters, my guess is everything in the letters will probably still be about ME ME ME with not much about Caylee.

BBM-I am curious to know if she continues her trend of not saying Caylee's name at all.

I am guessing the letters do not say "Are you guilty? Circle Yes or No"

But, we have known KC to slip up in the past, maybe she slipped up again, if only in a backwards sort of way.

Jailed Orange teen admits she killed girl <snipped>
After years of trying to control her daughter's misbehavior, she said her daughter must accept responsibility for her actions, whatever they were and whatever punishment faces her.

"Taking somebody's life is something I cannot imagine any child of mine doing. I can't imagine what that other girl's mother is feeling," she said. "For my child it is too late. If she did it, she's going to have to deal with herself. Someone else may learn
from what happens to her."
This link was found by Bree-in the NG thread for 4/1.
I hope the judge releases those letters-I can't wait to see what KC and Maya wrote to each other!!

LOL. I bet she did slip up, in her weird way of doing so. And probably, if she did do something stupid like you suggested, it would be more like,

Hey my new BFF, can I call you Robbie?

Do you think I'm guilty? Circle YES or NO.

You better circle no, or we aren't BFF's anymore.

Love you more than my stupid parents and dumb lawyers combined!

I'm confused as usual. Were the letters found inside the jail (I thought I read somewhere that they were found between the walls having been left behind with another prisoner when RA went to the Federal Prison) or outside of the jail?

If they were found outside of the jail, how do we know they were really written by KC? Also, do they include the letters that RA wrote in reply to KC's letters?

I'm not sure I understand what went down here. Also, since we don't know what is contained within the letters, they could either incriminate KC or incriminate someone else either truthfully or just more lies. How could any info within the letters be believed?

I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm not thinking KC had a sudden need to confess to a crooked LE's wife :waitasec:. How did the letters come to LE's attention again?

Well it is Friday afternoon and it looks like no Motion yet from the defense on keeping letters sealed. I would bet he waits until Monday and files it at the last minute or just simply asks the Judge for more time. You know how JB is, no need to actually do a little work when he can just wait until the last minute and then ask for more time.

Maybe JB would actually, but would never admit publicly, want the letters to be released!! That way he would have even more reason for his COV argument!!:waitasec:

LE learned from Maya (the teenage girl who strangled the other teenage girl) that she had been communicating with KC, and that KC had also written letters to Robyn. Robyn reluctantly admitted that she had received the letters and had given them to a third party (outside the jail) for safekeeping. (In this context, "safekeeping" probably means "sale to the National Enquirer.")

We know that the letters do not contain a confession, but do contain relevant information regarding the case.

Thanks AZ - I missed the connection to Maya altogether. Is that where the hidden letters within the jail info comes into play - from within her cell?

How does one give letters to a third party outside the jail for safekeeping? When they leave or move to Federal Prison they are escorted and only allowed to leave with what they came in with I would think. It's not like RA could hand a stack of letters off to somebody prior to going to the other facility. Is the guard implicated in that maneuver too?

Does Skye, who is rumored to have been in the same jail for a time, have any connections to these letters? Is that possible?

I don't think there were any hidden letters at all--do you have a link for that info?

I don't know how Robyn got the letters out of the jail, but it seems like she had her ways. ;) She is a cop's wife and maybe was given more leeway by the guards for that reason.

Skye would not have been in protective custody on "Dorm L" with KC, Robyn and Maya. I don't see how she could have been involved.

WBG, check out posts by ThommyMac (at least that is who put it all together for me) about how the notes could have been passed within the jail. I checked out kc's commisary orders for Oct 09 thru Jan 10 and there were numerous sketch pads but only a couple of envelopes (one manilla) and no stamps (IIRC) but about 8 pens. Another poster pointed out the pens are probably sold in packs of 4, which there were 2 purchases of. I am still baffled as to how the letters could get to an outside party (outside of the jail) without being detected or seen. Sounds like Maya has been having a lot of remorse about her behaviors and the fact she choked another person to death and then came forward and now the allegation of her coming forward to turn in all parties involved in the letter passing.

OT - This whole thing kinda reminds me of getting caught passing notes to my friend in Jr. High and then having to share it with the whole class. Fortunately, we were talking in "code speak" and didn't reveal too much embarrassing info. I declined the teacher when asked if I wanted to elaborate. In an effort to thwart the teachers efforts to keep my buddy and I from communicating during class, we learned the ASL sign language alphabet from the back of the "Helen Keller" book. The teachers would put us at opposite ends of the room and we would sign to each other. (such oppositional defiant children!)

I think I must have read that here because I don't really read anywhere else. But two times I looked around on a couple of other popular sites about the River and Skye claims, etc. so maybe I saw that proposed somewhere else if noone here remembers seeing that here.

But, the fact is, until the how, when, where make sense to me, it seems like there are puppets out there making diversion stories, confusion and crazy claims that serve the purpose of causing confusion and end up not offering any concrete evidence whatsoever.

Why would the defense call the insiders snitches versus clamping down on their client? Heck, there's a snitch around every corner - so what else is new? It gets more rediculous everyday imo.

LOL! When there's a will there's a way.
That's interesting about the envelopes and pens/imbalance - maybe the notes were simply folded.

I hope that Maya does know something believable but still, she may be capable of making stuff up in order to better her own case. I hope she was able to produce the actual notes, hand to hand, to the jail officials for examination. The prisoners will turn on one another in a heartbeat I bet.

I'm wondering if reply notes were found among KC's confines. Can they be flushed or how would one get rid of them?

So do you work with the blind now?
