A relevant question is why did Raven create the myspace profile, and did he list himself as single when he first created it -- on 4/19/05, 7 days before Janet's death?

BTW, when you sign up without editing anything in your profile, it automatically selects single. Of course, it has his astrological sign selected as Libra so unless that's an automatic setting, (obviously very doubtful), then he did go into the profile section to select information.

Yeah, I know that but the reason that Mr.A. knows the join date is because it was originally on the MySpace profile. That's the date that I'm trying to find now. (Here's a smile because I'm afraid that this post sounds short - it's not intended that way at all!)

A couple of thoughts:

Is it possible that Raven went to MySpace because his brother mentioned that he had written a song, and wanted him to check it out? It would possibly be important for LE to know how OFTEN Raven went to MySpace, and what his activities were there since Janet's death. Is it possible for LE to get that type of information from the site? In other words, does the web site have a record of that kind of stuff?

Would it be important to contact LE with this information as a tip? If they haven't got Raven's computer, then would they even know about this MySpace account?

Has anyone saved the information from that page in case it should disappear?

no, the song was written around 4/29 and Raven joined on 4/19. Good thinkng though

I don't know of his potential connection to MySpace but I was under the impression that the band site is a band from Salt Lake City who are presumably friends of his. (?) It mentioned a joint project (I can't remember the danged wording now) with Derek Abaroa. That's how we found it initially.

Derek looks like the brother to me. Somewhere there's a picture of him there and they definitely look alike.

Raven left a comment on his brother's (?) MySpace. It says Happy Birthday, and it's on April 19th. That might explain the reason behind the date when Raven signed up. He could have just wanted to surprise his cousin with a birthday greeting so signed up that day to post it.

Tom is just the guy that everyone gets in their friends list upon signing up. He's probably like customer service.

I saw that. I only put a question mark because I've heard Derek referred to as his cousin & as his brother and am simply becoming just plain-old confused. And if they are cousins that grew up together close in age, they might feel more like brothers, introduce themselves as brothers, etc. I'm not convinced that they're brothers but I'm not convinced that they're not. Either way, I don't think it's a big deal. Does anyone know how old Derek is?

This is exactly who he is.

Ignore Tom. He is unimportant re: the Abaroas -- what you are looking at is O Discordia, the "post-folk" project Raven's brother Derek is involved with, and another site connected to Ravens and "O Discordia" is Shiloh's myspace. Shiloh is Raven's sister.

Tom is the first automatic friend of everyone who gets a myspace account, me included. It's easy to get confused at that site; it's not that well-organized if you ask me -- I've missed stuff, gotten confused while looking at several myspace accts.

New entry includes some stuff you folks turned up that caught my interest.

I am so glad to see it confirmed that he did have his father's name of Peters. I thought this was the case since yesterday when I saw all the S and P middle initials.
I think there is a surname beginning with the letter S associated with the family as well. May be important, may not be, but the Peters part is!!!

Tom is no one ... let's even say that he's not real. He's a customer service guy that just appears on your page when you sign up. He is not a real "friend"; he's just the link you push when you need some assistance, (not directed at you laurie, just trying to clear this up). So Tom is NO ONE. No one knows Tom.

I'm not sure what Derek's real name or full name is but Raven was listed as having lived with a Derek Abaroa at a point in the past. And when we found the link that started this research to unfold, the link description mentioned a joint project with Derek Abaroa.
