We've got to hear something this weekend. I can't imagine why LE is taking THIS LONG! They should have had their forensic results by now. How much evidence do they have to have to issue an arrest warrant? It's as if they're hell bent on collecting every piece of evidence and proving his guilt from every possible angle before they charge him. Does anyone know if he's in Durham or up in Virginia with Janet's family? I'm sure Durham PD is being methodical about this because of the heat and scrutiny they were under in the Michael Peterson murder trial. Remember a few years ago, this well known author killed his wife, a Nortel executive, and made it look like she fell down the stairs? My cousin was the lead forensic invesigator and the key witness for the prosecution in that case. I'm trying to get some information out of him on this case, but he's so dang hard to get up with!

As of 5/17/05, an address report exists for him in North Carolina. I don't know that that really means anything, and I personally haven't read anything (that I can recall) that mentions where he is currently.

It's good if LE is taking their time and making sure that everything is done just right. We got impatient when LE didn't arrest Scott Peterson right away but they knew what they were doing and they got their man.

Wasn't Raven supposed to have been at a soccer game or something like that? If he was there then there should be people to verify that. I wonder if the game was close enough to home that he could have left for a little while and then went back. LE should know if his alibi is tight or not...by now.

If Raven was a controller then my money is on him as the killer. Doesn't he have a court date in June for stealing all that money? Maybe Janet was going to leave him and he wasn't having that. He sure doesn't sound like a stand up guy to me. Crooked is more like it. Another jerk that wants it all now and doesn't want to earn it like everyone else has to do.

For the sake of Janets loved ones I hope something breaks soon.

...there HAS to be computer correspondence....where IS the computer? janet was apparently on line with co-workers that evening.....raven was updating his site the day before.....photos of him with the computer....

...why did LE list computer files, and not the comp. itself on the warrant ? does that mean they do have the comp. as well ? i'm certain it will be a wealth of information...

... and , as a previous poster stated.....i hope as well that the person he was / is having an affair with will suck it up and come fwd.....

I've been told he moved there when he and Janet separated, only to move back when she proved to be pregnant.

I've also learned that his birth name was Raven Samuel Peters, and he changed it to Abaroa.

There's a link to "View All of Raven's Friends" but you have to have an account to view it. I suspect that there aren't many since he had only begun his profile a week before Janet's death, and I don't know that it wouldn't have been altered since then anyway since log-in occurred as recently as May 3rd.

LOL ... I just had to create an account to see, but he has no friends other than his brother and sister at this time. Interesting tho he has a picture with him and some guy and his sister left a comment asking who that person was.

He only has the three. I have an old myspace account from investigating another crime that had a lot of internet components.

I did notice that, and it sent a chill down my spine.

BTW, do any of you know of any normal, mature, married folks on MySpace? I'm not asking to be judgemental but because my teenage daughter has been asking me for almost a year to allow her to set up an account there. So I decided to check the site out, and ended up spending about 6 hours one night reading profile after profile after profile before deciding that there is no way in h*ll that I'm letting her create a profile there. I imagine that there must be normal folks on there but I did not encounter even ONE on the night I was checking it out, (of course, I got to other profiles by clicking on friends' lists so that might explain it). In any case, it seemed almost like an online hang-out for a lot of the kids, and people looking to network, hook up, make themselves look "cool", etc. The profiles that I found were just all very odd or very immature, and I'm just wondering if any of you have more experience with the site than me.
