Any chance someone can dig out more information on charges pending with embezzling from Eurosport? Greta's report had something about 5 or 7 charges on the screen during the report.

I have a question... I don't recall ever seeing a computer listed as part of what authorities searched for when in the house.

Raven was obviously heavily into computers.

Where is his home computer?

Seeing how he liked his toys (the SUV), and from what I can tell lived above his means pretty regularly -- someone pointed out his fondness for brand names -- I'd assume he might have had a laptop. Where is any laptop?

Seems like that would be significant evidence if he is really being thoroughly investigated.

Thoughts?

I don't know... I'm in the process of changing my mind about how they're handling this. I think they know exactly what they're doing, actually. I feel like Raven is, from LE's p.o.v., a potentially shrewd adversary who is keeping obsessive track of what they're doing. Keeping mum is their way of denying him -- if he truly is a suspect -- any knowledge of where they're at.

I did a freeze frame of the Internet news video on one of the Durham news stations where the search warrant list of items removed from the house was obtained. The reporter did not read the list, and was very focused on the knives, which is to be expected.

However, in freezing the segments, I could tell that a Palm Pilot was the #2 item on the list of items removed.
I hate to assume, but if they took a Palm Pilot, I am almost certain that the computer or computers were also seized.
Since one of the initial reports of her death included an Email or other computer messaging, I believe that report would lend a great deal of weight to the necessity of computers being seized, Raven's obsession with all things IT aside.

If you need a link to the video I will provide it, but it was quite clear on the list as the reporter held it. I couldn't see much else other than a set of kitchen knives as #1 and the Palm Pilot as #2 on the article list.

Hope this sheds a sliver of light on their search results.

So, is it possible
1. that RA killed Janet,
2. left in his SUV (leaving evidence) ... gatorade bottle (water to rinse self off); changed / disposed clothes ...
3. went to soccer game
4. returned home
5. Kissed the baby.
6. Saw Janet dead
7. Called LE reported wife hurt, gunshot
8. Met with LE on the driveway

The problem I have with this idea is that as a new parent, I just can't see RA leaving Kaiden alone for any length of time.

And with that we still don't have the *involvement* of the co-workers.

The link was buried in the thread and I found it from my blog -- there is no computer on the warrant, just the palm pilot and a cell phone.

The computers were not seized, or they would have been on the inventory on the warrant -- they listed other major items, like checkbooks and even the balance in the checkbook. I worked with a police department briefly in a clerical job, and let me tell you; they are required by law to make that thing thorough.

So where is his computer? Troubling question.

I thought it read palm pilot "charger" and not the palm pilot itself but I read so darned fast I can't remember everything! That would be odd unless the charger had blood on it.

I'm not surprised LE is keeping quiet. But I am shocked that Janet had this huge family, lots of friends, co-workers that obviously cared about her and no one is saying anything . . . . It's pretty sad state of affairs when a bunch of strangers are clammering for action, but then again ... maybe they know something we don't.

Also, I wonder what the coronoer;s list as time of death?
If Raven did go to the soccer game, did he leave early to go back home? If he did murder Janet, maybe he did it before he went to the game and then went to the game to have a supposed alibi.... so someone could "see" him at a busy game.

Also wonder if someone could've been paid to commit this crime, which could be why Janet may have alerted the co-worker with whom she might have been instant messaging, and why there "may" have been gun shots and empty casings on the ground???

• The alleged murder; getting Janet out of the way for real.
• What's step #3?

Raven mentioned Franklin Covey in one of his writings -- that he'd been reading up on what Stephen R. Covey espouses, though I don't think he mentions Stephen Covey. Still, Stephen is the 'Covey' in the name, and he wrote The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

And what's that all about?

At one of my previous jobs years ago, everyonewas required to take a FranklinCovey seminar and have one of their day planners. They really wanted us to plan out our days down to the :30 hour, including personal time. Some people strictly adhere to a life of "lists". Also, those seminars are big on goal setting and how you plan to meet your goals.

If this is the case, then I am sure Raven did have a plan.... he did have lists and he will be thoroughly investigated. It just can't be soon enough in my books!

His Plan as we know it surely contains many elements of his web entries on April 25.. He was telling the world that he was " starting over", that he is a " survivor of many hardships". He gives his Indian heritage... he is identifying with cultures where he feels safe, and also which provide him a measure of disguise.

Part 3 of his plan IMO may very well be to go underground with a splinter unofficial rogue Mormon group, the type which eludes and avoids LE with precision and finesse while they practice illegal polygamy, etc... He has extensive family roots and friends in Utah.
If he lets his hair go back to black, tans, replaces blue contacts with brown and grows a beard, he would be very hard to find once he makes it out of NC.

IF everything now viewed as current on both his BLOG and website were done on April 25, one day before Janet was killed, then I doubt seriously any of it is either random or meaningless. Therefore, the " love for all things Kaiden" may also be a lie.
This little baby may be in harm's way. We have seen that sociopaths do not love their children. Raven learned early on what to say and how to act to be " charming" and to " fit in".
More omniously, Kaiden will be a huge liability to blending in and hiding. I don't think this is a man who wants any liabilities of any type.

Edited to say: I don't think Raven would STAY underground and certainly not in the USA, but would use the people who took him in and his family resources to travel to a country with a quality of life he " appreciates"... maybe even a good national soccer team as well. Think along the lines of Rio.
