 T minus 1 hour!
WHHAAAT? I thought court was recessed until 1:30 PST today? Dang it. I planned on doing homework this morning haha.

Most likely 1:47 ET...followed by a 15 minute sidebar session...then a 22-minute break to fix some electronic equipment. Back at it for 17 minutes, while Nurmi objects approximately 28 times, leading to 4 "quick" sidebars before breaking for lunch. Lunch will last about and hour and 58 minutes, followed by 32 minutes of real action, several sidebars (of course) then a break for the afternoon. Upon resumption, there will be only about 43 minutes left before the extended weekend break.
Thanks, I was thinking it had to be given the kind of tile. Jeepers, it looks like it was in several inches of water or something because the stain is pretty even around the bottom edge. I wonder how that could have happened?
Also I'm still wondering about the evidence pictures of the closet off the laundry. and if they found cleanup evidence there.

I keep hearing on HLN Christi Paul say that court resumes in less than half an hour, but I could have sworn the judge said 10:30am yesterday at the end of court. And you guys seem to also think 10:30am... so confused! :waitasec:
This is slightly off topic but I thought you would all find this amusing. Dr Drew (being a local guy to LA) is a frequent morning guest on our local rock station KROQ and was on this morning. A few days ago he had floor seats at the LA Lakers/Torono game, and Kobe Bryant came over to talk to him. The DJs this morning asked Dr Drew what Kobe said. Drew said that Kobe whispered to him, "We gotta chit chat about this Jodi Arias chick!" Apparently all the Lakers are following the case too. (And I love the visual of Kobe using the phrase "chit chat").
Got to move as fast as Jodi did in those 62 seconds!
That won't happen because it would draw public attention to yet another Mormon murderer. The biggest concern, number one priority, for church leaders is bad publicity.
Also, just FYI, no one is actually ever "removed" from the Mormon church membership list. A note is added to the file that the member has been ex'd, or resigned, requested no-contact, etc. This is because that person may show up again in some other part of the world pretending to be a member in good standing. Or pretending to be a new convert.
One thing from yesterdays defence team.
WHO PICS OUT YOUR CLOTHES???
St Patrics Day was not yesterday!
Maybe there were hopes for some magic leprechaun luck because thats all they had left.
Probably easier than getting the truth from Jodi
If she really was in a narcissistic rage (and I think she likely was) its very unlikely she would have stopped to change weapons, in my opinion. Have you ever seen one?I wonder if some of the stabbing was before the gun shot, say as he saw what she was up to and tried to get the knife away. Then mortally wounded he was shot. Then in a continuation of her narcissistic rage she went back to stabbing him - accounting for the almost "slicing" wounds on his back.
I remember Jodi saying in her earliest interview that, "this didn't have to happen." Whatever took place in the 45 or so seconds between Travis' torso picture (which might have even been inadvertent as she stepped back from the shower) to the picture of the ceiling, is where the truth of this matter is hidden.
The belief that Travis was going to be with Mimi triggered it all - the secret phone sex recording, the angry text from Travis that Jodi had crossed that final boundary, the impetuous road trip, and the final fight. If only she knew that Mimi had turned him down (in her mind) would have changed everything - "this didn't have to happen."
Indeed. Jodi/Defense: "The bullet didn't go through his brain, so he was fully conscious, yelling and threatening my life, and chasing me with the intent to kill me! And that same minor, grazing gunshot wound, one minute later, left him lying on his back on the floor, bleeding profusely! At that point I didn't have the knife, and even though he was down on the ground and I was standing behind him, I couldn't just run away!"
:what:
Those matching green ensembles might just work for "Dancing With the Stars"

Is that all we know? Did any roomies confirm that she cleaned there or when or if it ended? I'm having trouble with the idea that he would pay her to clean..she owed him money and, why have her be there more rather than less?
Do you mind if I ask if you are a practicing Mormon now, or only in the past? It seems like there are some unresolved issues with the Mormon community. Is this usual the case with practicing Mormons?Someone may have already answered this.
The answer is yes, the local leaders have wide discretion in matters of discipline and even doctrine. A few years ago the General Authorities, also called "apostles" announced that their leadership tasks had become so burdensome that they no longer could answer any questions about doctrine. They referred members to their local leadership, the bishop, for answers to questions about teachings and practices.
None of the current Mormon leaders have any theological training whatsoever. They are businessmen managing an international corporation worth billions, LDS, Inc.
As you can imagine, this lead to a wider divergence in doctrine/practices than before. For example, a girlfriend of mine and I both went to our bishops asking if our child support should be considered "income" and tithed on with the required 10% considering that the Mormon fathers of our children had already tithed on the income before paying their child support.
Her bishop said no, mine said yes.
The bishops and stake presidents in the Mormon church are called to these positions and serve without pay. They have a church handbook to help them make decisions. So you are asking a question to basically your neighbor, the dentist. He is without any theological training or counseling credentials yet he is the go-to person for your needs in both these areas.
LDS members can be referred to LDS social services, which provides (for pay) access to a social worker who is also LDS and who can help the person apply for entitlement programs they might not know about.
Maybe that's what she wants us to think - that she was paid. It's right up there with "Event Planner" and "Nanny" on somebody else's resume we know... I'm having FCA flashbacks on this in many ways. She moved in to Tony's immediately and started making herself all kinds of useful by cooking, cleaning and using stolen checks to buy beer and paper towels at Target. Maybe these manipulative chicks think that sex, cooking and cleaning are how to make themselves indispensable to guys. At least they know they are not likely to be turned down for the offers.
No, I think he has a photo. The way she sprung into that story just to point out that in this one photo she had covered them with make up, he's got a photo.
