Here is a possible solution for the 340
It looks like the zodiac symbols may have been used as a guide for placement of a message when being constructed. see photo.

BEWARE MORE WILL DIE. WE ARE V PLUS V- one v points up and the other down to what I assume are identities. This gives the letter E for Robert

EARL V JR WILL BEG TO DIE. -the b symbol is under the v. jr are vertical symbols to the left of earl- 6 of 12 symbols for earl v will beg are repeating symbols using the same letters that are in revenge will heal . To Die is already there

Row 9 that does not start after the zodiac symbol- REVENGE WILL HEAL. The b is under the v. 10 of 15 symbols and letters match with other symbols and letters.
