I took your advice and checked out casebook.org. After many distractions I looked at Jessica Taylor's case again. I googled where she was found - off the Long Island Expressway near Halsey Manor road. Look what I found:

I don't now the area but I've always noted the wildlife sanctuaries in the areas of the finds...other sleuthers have too - some think it may be a duck hunter. IDK. Just thought I'd share this.

I don't think he's LISK either but I can think off-hand of a few SKs who killed themselves:
Israel Keyes
Richard Chase
Loren Herzog (one of the Speed Freak killers)

It appears to happen more often when the serial killers are in custody. I see no reason why LISK would off himself (even if he felt LE was closing in) until LE had closed in. I think he's too much of a narcissist.

i didn't say he was, i asked YOU what YOUR reason was for excluding(out of curiosity)--next time, read more carefully, as i said i NEVER had him on radar, and i don't feel the need to put that back in red to you---and i can name at least a dozen without even trying, including KEYES

The news articles at these links reports that the NCPD ret ofc was found hanging from a tree by a jogger in the park, not marina, on Merrick Rd Bellmore. He was under investigation for having sex w/gf while on duty. Terrible shame to kill oneself for this reason. Too many cops are known to be engaging in relations behind buildings here on LI.

Placing this here because the comment I'm referencing appears to have been removed.

Earlier today someone claiming to be one of the victim's brothers commented on this article http://longisland.news12.com/news/j...-2-suffolk-county-cold-case-murders-1.8862858 and said that his sister was raped, beaten very badly, and nearly decapitated.

I wish I took a screenshot of the comment but I didn't, although I'm pretty sure other WS mentioned seeing the comment, also.

If true, this is pretty significant, IMO. It may point to an early unsuccessful attempt at decapitation, and leaves plenty of room for escalation in later killings. (The notion of later killings being my conjecture.)

All the media reports that have mentioned cause of death have stated that it was strangulation in addition to being hit with a "blunt force object". I wonder if the near decapitation could have been due to her being hit hard with something.

I read that too.
I do understand that the comment was removed bc the relative said some horrible thing concerning JBs son and wife, totaly uncalled for remarks.
