Edmund Kemper, The Green River Killer (apparently)... to name two that were caught.. Possibles on that list are The Zodiac Killer and the ONS. I'm sure others. This is a myth that has been debunked many times. Serial killers age, get bored, reevaluate their risk/reward system, and effectively stop or drastically slow down, even if they aren't caught or in jail.

Her behavior makes sense for someone experience extreme fear. She saw something and she didn't know who she could trust, Pak, Colette anyone. Haven't you ever seen a horror movie where the person realizes everyone in a town is actually evil and trying to kill them? They freak out an run because they don't know who they can trust

Mike I'm being civil. Look I'm the only one on this forum ever to address the Partial skeletal remains found on the beach way out to the east on Halsey Neck Road in the hamptons. Look here is the issue with those who propagate the Shannan Gilbert psychotic suicide myth. You aren't addressing the elephant in the room. You are completely ignoring the drifter. You can't jump to the assumption that Shannan was delusional without determining what role the drifter played in Shannan's freak out. Robert, you gave a lecture on why Shannan isn't a victim of the SK and you ignored the fact that another individual besides Brewer was in the house with her that night. Why wouldn't you bring this up? Look at the FACTS. LE has said very little, but there are TWO very important things they did say in April 2011, both of the information came out on within 24 hours. LE announced they had a suspect and they announced that another man was in the house with Brewer and Shannan that night. This is no coincidence. For you to ignore this in your talk is quite silly. And I'm not attacking you. I'm simply pointing out the hole in your argument. No one can assume logically that Shannan was delusional without ascertaining the role of the drifter that night. To ignore the drifter when telling the story of Shannan's demise would be the same as telling the story without mentioning Pak. Shannan freaked out when she was inside the house with Brewer AND THE DRIFTER! You guys don't even know this dude's name whether it be Lenny or something else. How can you say Shannan was delusional when you don't even know who the man was that was in the house with her when she called 911 and freaked out! Ridiculous!

She was bipolar and not taking her meds. Saying the timeline of the evening strongly points to a psychotic break is NOT an insult to her memory. Her death was a tragedy. But it is even worse if we refuse to discuss the truth because it is unpopular.

Nothing she did after initiating that 911 call is consistent with seeking safety. Didn't get into the car with Pak and get the hell out of OB, ran past the exit and further into the community. Didn't stay with Gus and then ran into the marsh/brambles/thicket at low tide. I don't doubt she was in fear for her life but the actions aren't consistent with seeking safety. That shouldn't be controversial or seen as degrading her memory. Bad things happen to good people too.

Im going to have to disagree with the notion that her actions weren't consistent with seeking safety.

The very first thing she did was attempt to find safety.......she ran to Gus Coletti's.

I didnt realise until I looked at your timeline, that Gus didn't actually call the police until after he lost sight of Shannan....11 minutes later.


Could it be a simple case of Shannan being in total fear and panic. ..lands at Mr Colettis house....he is also shocked to have this distressed girl at his house...he's trying to process the situation and during that time maybe Shannan had looked out the door and seen a car coming .......whether she knew it was Paks or if she was uncertain of who's car. .. point is... it was coming from the direction she was trying desperately to get away from....still in fear and she takes off again....maybe she didnt view Mr Coletti as being up to match the threat against her...one could assume he was probably flustered and quite taken back by this unusal situation.

So she takes off again.......still seeking Safety....didnt she knock on a few other doors?

What purpose would it serve to run out the exit onto a deserted road when the person/s could easily drive and get you....personally if I thought someone was chasing me and trying to kill me...the very last place I would go is out in the open on a road...Id probably knock on doors hoping to raise an alarm.

Add to that he's in the house with Shannan where her fear originates and you have the most likely candidate for LISK

One of the murders is Sarah Strobel. She was found in Froelich Farm Preserve. I think its in Huntington. She was on heroin and started to escort. Google pix 11 news. Sarah Strobel. Theres a video.
