I'm going to have to find your quail treasure trove, we only do birds and I've never even seen land produce that much!

I did go dove hunting in Argentina 3 years ago, 844 for me, and 1,214 for my husband in 2 days.

My cousin from Louisiana did an Argentina hunt recently. Said he's never seen so many dove. His shoulder hurt from shooting so much. Had a blast.
We have a 1,900 acre ranch north of Abilene. Been in the family since 1901. The quail have been great recently after a few years of being scarce. Lots of deer, wild hogs, dove.. I also shot a turkey Friday. I'm very blessed to hunt the same land with my sons and grandson that I hunted with my dad and grandfather. Then we have an additional 640 acres of cotton farms.

Toronto girl here! If your hubby is fishing for pickerel I'm guessing u are on Lake Erie?

Sorry his was in response to Bravo...

Thank you Ms M. I hear you.
Ps in case you have issues with Green Card/Visa, I own a little Canadian bakery cafe in Las Vegas and I'm welcoming all Americans to defect to my shop on Wednesday if things don't go as hoped tomorrow night. You will need to bring beads and furs as currency and be able to say "sorry" 50 different ways as we Canadians do. Being nice (and polite) is also required but I see you have that covered (!) You are more than welcome to join us.

Since your a bakery it would be safe to assume no poutine or at the very least fries and gravy???? LOL

Not tonight. Much time there in summer. They are on the St. Clair tonight. We are SW Ontario.

#RossHarris -Per @DuffieDixon, Judge Staley Clark is giving the jurors the option to take long lunch tomorrow to vote & come back.Up to them

Nice...I was wondering if she'd let them make their own schedule. Many of them possibly already voted early.

I have friends and relatives in Windsor and London. Trivia - Vincent Price had a summer house in Amherstburg.

This was the case that first brought me to Websleuths (though I first heard of WS in the Dr. Teleka Patrick case...I didn't join then, just peeked at what you guys do here).

I can't believe that it's already been a couple of years since first joining here to talk about little Cooper's case.

This is the first trial I've followed here. My interest in cases really isn't with the trial phase - I'm drawn to the mystery of cases, figuring out whodunit and why. Once the perp is caught, I usually lose interest (or if the discussion turns mean...that's a turn-off for sure).

But in THIS case, I'm interested in seeing it through to the verdict. I'm very curious about how long the jury will deliberate, if they have any questions they ask the judge to clarify, and, of course, what their decision will be.

Oh, wow. Taleka Patrick. I honestly haven't though of her in a long time. I followed that one, too. So incredibly sad. It's weird how some cases/people slip away through good intentions and some stay with you forever. Cooper will stay with me forever.

Alanna Gallagher was the first one I really followed and commented on here. That was right in my neighborhood at the time.

Poutine is the ENTIRE reason I opened the store! I've been wanting to serve it to Las Vegans since I moved here in 1992! And true Canadian (peameal) bacon. Bakery exists to sell butter tarts and Nanaimo Bars. Also donuts. Canada for President!!!

Good red my main tipple too. I've never used Pernod with seafood, only chicken. Is it mainly prawns/lobster you use it with?

Mostly fish or shrimp. Not a fan of lobster and would not even attempt cooking it at home. Will experiment with chicken as I have not tried it :)

Gorgeous weather for it, and you are indeed blessed to have this space for priceless tradition in your family.

May your pouches be full tomorrow, too!

YUmm, a bakery..... What are your Canadian offerings? My sweet Mother-in-law grew up in Prince Edward Island and every Thanksgiving she made delicious glazed fruit pastries and blueberry strudel and pumpkin/cranberry spice bread.

Looks nice!!! I am headed to TX on Wednesdays, but to the Waco area. Headed to my daughters as she is having surgery on Thursday. I will most likely miss the Verdict. As I have missed most of the trial, and played catch up. My phone will get a workout.

Oooh must go to the store! Your head will spin with flavored vodkas...most stores have an entire wall now there's are so many

I don't trust myself with those yummy flavored vodkas. I sip it down too fast cuz it's so yummy.
