It was a white card that was behind Casey's ID, but we have no idea what it was. I've sometimes wondered if it was a police officer's business card. I have heard that if you were friends with a police officer, he would give you his card and if you were stopped for a minor traffic violation and showed the card to the police officer, he wouldn't ticket you. Yes, this is unethical, but I do know it was going on years ago in one city I have lived in because I had a friend who was dating a police officer and she told me about it. I have no idea if this has been going on in Orlando, but it's just one of many thoughts I have had as to what that card might have been. If you think about it, it would make sense to put that card right behind your driver's license. I imagine that if a police officer was taking in evidence in a possible kidnapping or homicide and saw such a card, they would take it away quickly to protect a fellow officer. And we do know that Casey had "dated" lots of police officers.
