just got caught up! thanks Torismom for doing this! When I look at the times... it's almost unbelievable that it happened that quick, isn't it? in that last picture, with the baseboard showing, it looks like a body in a sheet being dragged. It just seems like it would take more time to get him on that sheet and drag. by the times on those photo's, she killed him and was dragging him in a sheet in 3 minutes and 2 seconds (final shower photo - last photo)

This also to me shows that she wasn't relishing his death as some have said. If she was enjoying torturing him as
has been mentioned, then she certainly would not be taking only two minutes to do it. I theorize that panic is what cased the overkill and
the speed. I do not think it was self defense though.
IMO she thought this would be quick and painless ( for her)
and something went wrong

Respectfully snipped for space.

So if she fired the gun with her left hand and held the camera in her right, that would make it more likely the gun would jam, than if she fired using both hands?

BTW: Thanks for the info on automatics. I'm more comfortable with my revolver than an automatic because its more 'idiot' proof. Does anyone know what other guns were at the grandparents house that were not taken.

I'm more comfortable with my revolver too.

As I recall there was at least one rifle and maybe two that were not stolen from the grandparents home.

I thought I remembered something about rifles as well

For the record, I do agree with you the way you stated it, obviously no enjoyment in a 3 minute span but when I mentioned torturing/knife in sex play that was to begin much earlier. To be honest I really do not trust the whole time stamp basis for a scientific timeline when that is so easily altered.

Look at the photo of Travis laying in the shower. His left side (leg going up and over) up against the lip of the shower. That is the same as the photo taken outside of the shower showing Travis's lower left side and leg against the lip.

What is the distance from the hall where Jodi cut his throat back to the shower? Was Jodi's hand print going toward the hall or the back to the bathroom?

I'd think that socks would give you a better purchase on tile than shoes. Maybe she didn't want to leave and shoe prints?

but there was at least one shoe print

I just don't see her frantic enough with the stabbing to hurt herself.
Seems more to me he would have been struggling or trying to get away that caused her to injure her hands.

The movement to the sink and down the hall doesn't seem to me to be made by someone already shot in the head... with several serious stab wounds.

I just don't know... and it really doesn't matter to me in the end. She was prepared to kill him one way or the other.

If he were shot last I don't see it being done in the shower stall. He may have tried to get up once she pulled him into the bathroom and she may have shot him in the head there with the bullet casing ending up near the sink. I don't believe the ME feels he was shot in the shower either.

In the video where the hockey goalie's neck was cut with a skate you see him on all fours moving around with blood pouring from his neck and they were able to save him even though they did not see his injury immediately. So it is possible TA may have had some life still in him and she ended up shooting him to make sure he was dead. Makes you wonder why she wouldn't put him in the tub? It would have been easier to wash him off but not as fast as the shower. jmo

I agree with you on this.

Would be curious how much work it took to almost decapitate Travis? This is a very deep cut through muscle tendons, cartilage. I don't think it was one quick swipe with the knife. It is possible that when Jodi was dragging Travis, she hadn't quite completed the cut through the neck. We know when the first pic was taken and the last pic, but that doesn't confirm at what point Jodi was finished with him.

It had to have been hers because everyone else would have had their shoes looked at by now. jmo

But why would she alter the time stamp if she thought those pictures would never be seen?

I wonder about it also. I can set my camera for 2099 if I want to and doesnt the camera only go off of that? So if you go into the settings then you can change the time which obviously camera savvy Jodi could have done but I dont think she did because I think she would have at least made it a time that invalidated the stamp. Is there an internet connection in the camera because I have heard of bluetooth cameras that can send right to your phone?

Did they even mention the size/style of the shoe at trial? I can't remember...

The difference between the distribution of weight? He'd be easier to drag/slide back down the hall. The dead weight of moving him around would be much harder. You'd almost have to be backing into the shower, with her hands under his arms, but you'd be caught between him and the door. So she just shoved him in there the best she could.

ITA. Dragging vs. lifting and having to use upper body strength.

Much easier to drag, especially on a wet tiled surface.

exactly what I mean. There was suggestion that she took off her shoes because she didn't want shoe prints so I was telling that poster that they did have a shoe print that was mentioned in evidence.

I do not recall them ever matching it to a shoe though, so I guess it could have even been one of the people who discovered hims shoe print.

A lot would depend on how big the knife is and of course how sharp it is.

doesn't matter when it started.. it matters what the PROGRESSION was and those are well documented.

Travis is seen alive..

Travis is seen being dragged back down the hall with blood running down his neck.

couple that with what we saw what was done to his body.. this woman has a lot of explaining to do if she is pleading "defense"
