I sure hope the jury gets this right. I think the PA should have brought in more testimony about other things that we know now.

The jury doesnt have near the information we have about Jodi. They could have put on much more. I hope they have a chance in cross, but I am really afraid the defense is not going to call hardly anybody. I just have a bad feeling that this defense is going to say the state hasnt proved much of anything and they may rest their case quickly and shock everyone.

I know. I am with you. Everytime I think of this case, I get a bad feeling about the verdict.

I heard a TV pundit say the defense was going to have a hard time keeping Jodie OFF the stand because she LOVES the camera so much. For someone who was so eager to tell her stories to whoever would hold a camera in front of her---it will not look good to have her sit there tight lipped now. Unless the defense council says "since Jodi cannot open her mouth without lying, we will tell this story for her."

Oh, but she does not like Martinez, at all. Have you seen the way she looks at him. If looks could kill. jmo

I don't feel like it's a good idea for the prosecution to ask M. Hall all this stuff about sex & getting excommunicated from the Mormon church.

They know the defense is going to bring it up, they're trying to get out in front of it.

They know the defense is going to bring it up, they're trying to get out in front of it.

i think it is better the prosecution bring it up first so that the defense can't turn it into some bombshell that could TA look guilty of abuse or make the jury think the prosecution is surpressing evidence

No I haven't! I wish I had. She does seem like the kind of person who prefers to confront her enemies rather than avoid them.

And if he questions her aggressively and she breaks down in sobbing and crying, it could turn into a "poor little old me" display for the jury, and Martinez will look like another "abuser".

I don't want her to testify---she's said enough and has had much more camera time than she deserves.

She is in the middle of a trial and she can't afford to pay her attorneys but she has an income coming in of thousands of dollars a month from personal articles her family is selling on ebay. There is just something very wrong here with our system if we permit this to continue. No one should profit off the death of another that they are responsible for killing and killed in cold blood. It just is so wrong. jmo

Mimi told the 911 dispatcher that his stalker's name was Jodi, but she didn't know her last name at that point.

I thought that was Michelle on the phone at that point.

yes after oj was found innocent, the families sued him for wrongful death - they wanted to make him testify in open court - and he was found guilty, but managed to avoid ever paying a dime, except where ron' family got leins and were able to confiscate some of oj's possesions

Another thing that I watched last night, I think on Nancy Grace, there was a friend who had TA's suit on. He said Travis put his name on all his clothing so I'm thinking the shirt that had his name on it pictured on Jodi might have been his because we could not see what was written on the back. Is there proof he gave her that shirt or did she just put it on for the picture? jmo

Somewhere I read that the t-shirt she is wearing in that picture has his blog website address printed on the back. It's a t-shirt meant to promote his blog.

Somehow I think this is not Martinez' first rodeo and I think she knows it. I think he is ready for her if she takes the stand. I think he will kill her with kindness and just go through the whole event second by second and everytime she lies, he will nail her on it with facts, then tell her to proceed. I don't think she will cry, I think she will be hoping mad and ready to kill him. jmo

Some new PA should charge her with Plagerism or copywright infringement because I could swear that she "traced" some of those drawings directly from other photos. There was one of a famous person that I know I have seen this exact picture somewhere else. She is obviously tracing the drawings from photos and then just coloring them in. We all can be great artists with that approach.

Charge her with more charges. LOL

There is a big difference between the two. Not guilty means there was not enough evidence to prove guilt and does not always mean you are innocent. jmo

On HLN the person that was on said he agrees with the ME and also said that with the bruises to his feet, ankles and legs he believes Travis was stomped and stepped on prior to dying during the struggle.

I always thought that would have come from when she stuffed him back into the shower. I doubt she was gentle.

Joseph Morgan on HLN going over the autopsy report said the wounds don't give a picture of self-defense, but of the killer being in a frenzy. It was overkill and that indicates a person in a frenzy to kill.

well DUH there was what 29 stab wounds? (that's a DUH for the expert, not anybody on here)

Count me in as one of the people who think Jodi's art work is from her tracing then coloring it in. She may be able to trace, but still can't get much emotion in her art. It's barren and cold. :cow:
