I've watched a few of those shows as well back when I was a teen myself. I knew right then I would never do anything to land in jail or prison.

No whirlpool tubs
Two inch mattresses
1 crappy pillow
Lousy thread count or sheets and you just know there is no fabric softener
Crappy sandals
Ugly wardrobe
No choice for meals
Stubby pencils
No HD, premium channels, or dvr
No ipad or iPhone

I'd rather be dead

Oh, and don't forget all the FRIENDS she will have in her new home.
Someone will put her in her place too!!! Never been, but I don't think
there are any women in prison that will take her BS..

Did you see the jail friends she has now supporting her holding up signs on that video? Unreal! Lots of people think she'll do fine in prison. I tend to think so.

I hope Jodi doesn't just get 25 yrs. in prison though. She'd be about 57 when she got out. Still young enough to pick up her knife again.

Next week can't come soon enough. This is the trial to watch online with us. Any lurkers reading this, consider joining so you can post your thoughts, insights, and frustrations along with us.

Good Night Everyone. :offtobed:

I appreciate your warnings. Scared to watch it right now. Sounds like it's going to rip my heart out.

I watched it this a.m. and yes, it will rip your heart out and make you angry. But I am glad I watched it. Amazing parents.

One more thing. Don't you find it kind of strange Jodi's fingerprints weren't found anywhere (that I know of) than that palm print?

Faucets? Washing machine? Shower door? Cup?

I had thought of this as well. I wondered why the palm print and no fingerprints anywhere. I am wondering if while she was stabbing him she didn't realize at the time, but she cut clear through her gloves and her hand. Those latex gloves split wide open once they tear. The ones you use to color your hair are even worse. I think she really thought she covered all bases........deleted pics, no fingerprints, no cell phone records, no traceable car tag, no gun, no knife, girl with dark hair did it. She thought she was pretty smart...............

You also wouldn't have WS. You could always just hide your pen in your shampoo. :floorlaugh:

I sometimes watch the prison shows on msnbc and they are scary. Only 2 men to a cell but that is 1 too many and it is never quiet there. lol

Death Row is too good for Jodi ...

Let's send her to Iran as a Christian missionary or sentence her to 50 years hard labor patching old tires ...

Typically I agree about the faces that show up on tv. This DR on HLN went over the wounds one by one and explained what he saw which all jived with the ME, including the GSW. The only thing he added was the legs/foot bruising part. He seemed very legit and knowledgeable. Looking at your link, it's funny because so many say a person doesn't bruise after death and they don't qualify that by saying unless it happens right around the time of death.

Interesting! Wish I could watch! Glad to here the person on TV sounds legit. What a crazy case indeed

Hmm true. Did she ever give an explanation about the ninjas caused that?

Of course they will. That is what they always do. Its one of the reasons I detest defense attorneys. They revictimize all over again. They tried to do that in the DP case I was on and it was insulting and offensive.

Its all about winning and getting the defendant off even when they know they are guilty.

I do respect some defense attorneys who put on their case and dont try to sully the victim but they seem rare these days.

IMO

Dr Hottie Horn ME is on IS with his testimony again.

I do. But then she cut herself, she probably took that one off to check out her wound. Curious if her finger injury is on the same hand as the palm print left on the wall with both of their blood.

Yes, finger injuries and palm print both on left hand.

I look at that photo and get sad all over again.

To think Travis's body laid there for days and only that small amount of blood that is shown is all he had left to spill when he was put there is heartbreaking.:(

When you see Travis's robe hanging on that hook next to the shower it just makes that pic even more personal. Sad indeed.

It will. But with that said, it is a very very well done film. And a cautionary tale. I personally found it important to view it because it really did happen...and this poor family really are living with this tragedy every day. :(

thanks katiecoo or whoever posted that link to the letter to zachary documentary. I watched it last night. I remembered seeing Dateline program on these horrible crimes awhile back. Yes it was so terribly awful what that evil woman--Shirley Turner- did and the unimaginable grief she caused. A cautionary tale is right.

They are expecting to get the papers soon listing the defense witnesses for the hearing on Monday. (trutv)

We have those in our showers. That's what it looks like to me.

I'm not a nurse, doctor or a chemist... But I know one thing for sure. Her junk looks nothing like my junk.

I know I'm pages and pages behind, but thanks so much for the laugh! :floorlaugh:
