I always thought that would have come from when she stuffed him back into the shower. I doubt she was gentle.

He explained bruising only happens when a person is alive.

Defense is filing new witness for their PA misconduct. - per Beth - which will be held on the afternoon of the 28th.

Somehow I think this is not Martinez' first rodeo and I think she knows it.

Haha, I thought of Judge Perry right away, when I read that! Thanks for the laugh...:floorlaugh:

I think she used it to throw water down the hallway...made him even easier to slide

She is in the middle of a trial and she can't afford to pay her attorneys but she has an income coming in of thousands of dollars a month from personal articles her family is selling on ebay. There is just something very wrong here with our system if we permit this to continue. No one should profit off the death of another that they are responsible for killing and killed in cold blood. It just is so wrong. jmo

Therr is a victim's rights organization that is monitoring the sale of this stuff. UNTIL she is convicted it is legal. If she is convicted, it will be illegal. (It is illegal for a convicted murderer to profit from a murder).

HLN just showed Jodi in the tee shirt. Riles me. Please someone get some iron on letters, so it reads "Travis Alexander's Killer". Jurors don't even know it was a promotional item for his blog, not yet, do they?

Old girlfriend of T on defense witness list.

Wonder if she's Mormon. They said her name, but my puppy was barking - sorry.

  • #949
Popsicle, did you catch the old girlfriend's name?

I honestly believe she showered off while standing on his dead body.

To be honest I always pictured her doing that too and it makes my stomach turn thinking of it. I think she used the cup after though to wash him off.

"Andy Kahan, a victim advocate for the city of Houston, said he is aware of the eBay listings and has been monitoring them.
Kahan, 53, has spent more than 20 years working against the sale of "murderabilia," a term he coined for any items that have market value because of their connection to a convicted murderer. Kahan is considered the number one watchdog of the sale of such items, which he said glorify violent crimes and cause undue pain for victims' families.
The Arias case is somewhat different from typical murderabilia sales, in that she has yet to be convicted. As a result, it is impossible to legally prevent her from profiting.
"Hence, she or any entrepreneur can sell any artwork or product that she produces," Kahan told HuffPost. "Unless she is convicted, she is free to do as pleased."
According to Kahan, even if Arias is convicted, some of her artwork may still be made available by people on her behalf.
"The problem is there is artwork out there that she produced before any of her legal entanglements, so I would be shocked if anything could be done to prevent that. It would likely only be the new items that they would be able to prevent the sale of," Kahan said.

that may have been reason for the cup as well. If she was standing over him she could not get under the water to wash her hair but the area is super small and wouldnt that be putting evidence right back on him? I mean I know my hair falls out like crazy and whether it was wet or not it would be falling on her. With that kind of attack she was covered in blood probably even her hair.

Somewhere I read that the t-shirt she is wearing in that picture has his blog website address printed on the back. It's a t-shirt meant to promote his blog.

I thought I read this or watched it somewhere too. I thought it was a friend of Travis on an interview. If the prosecution can prove that then it will look really really bad. I am sure that the defense will just try to spin it to say that what it really means doesnt matter, in her mind it was just another way dominated her.

Great thought! Ya know Jodi was ALMOST at the top of her game. Just
very slick in everything she did. The camera comes back to haunt her.
I agree with others that it just might have been picked up with the
wash load by accident.
But there's the timing, the cleanup such as it was, even down to
renting a white car which was the same color as Mimi's
Maybe a murderer all over the place, but trying like hell to cover
all her mess. Scary and smart... A terrible mix.
I bet she was yelling at him and cursing the whole time.

Hi everyone

I followed this case about 2 weeks ago on GMA. I was trying to look up more info on this case when this site pulled up.

I believe JA will be charged with crime of passion.

The one thing I don't get is why did she brutally murder TA 27 times. What led her to doing this?[/QUOTE]

Passion? Jodi was very PASSIONATE when she killed Travis.

This is from Merriam-Webster Dictionary
1
a : easily aroused to anger
b : filled with anger : angry
2
a : capable of, affected by, or expressing intense feeling
b : enthusiastic, ardent
3
: swayed by or affected with sexual desire
— pas·sion·ate·ly adverb
— pas·sion·ate·ness noun

Jodi has already been charged with out and out murder. Her defense is self defense.

yeah there are auctions sites specifically for this. Its really creepy. Stuff like artwork from Gacy or poems from Nightstalker is worth big bucks.
