HLN just showed Jodi in the tee shirt. Riles me. Please someone get some iron on letters, so it reads "Travis Alexander's Killer". Jurors don't even know it was a promotional item for his blog, not yet, do they?

I smell some fun with Photoshop coming up........:floorlaugh:

I know its been asked in other ways but I gotta know, why would Jodi record sex calls? Theres no way Travis allowed it.

I tend to not believe that she blackmailed him but why else would she record them?? I guess you could argue that she used them for "private time" later but I
just dont see that either. These were recorded for a reason.

In fact they were the ones who solicited Travis was not temple worthy.

A smart Prosecutor always brings out things first that he knows the defense is wanting to bring in. It deflates the balloon.

IMO

On JVM they just said the Def has filed to call witnesses in their move for mistrial related to the txt msgs and prosecution misconduct.

Oh JJ beat me to it. lol

can some one please explain to me why they are allowed to keep bringing this up? a previous judge already ruled on this - she has had the text messages over 2 years - longer than her present atty's, when the judge asked defense what damages were caused, he couldn't tell her any, how many times are they allowed to keep bringing this up????

that may have been reason for the cup as well. If she was standing over him she could not get under the water to wash her hair but the area is super small and wouldnt that be putting evidence right back on him? I mean I know my hair falls out like crazy and whether it was wet or not it would be falling on her. With that kind of attack she was covered in blood probably even her hair.

There still was blood splatter on Travis's neck that hadn't been washed off. His head would of been a little behind the shower head? There also was a tub next to the shower.

Everybody is saying "mark my words". I'm going to need a separate notebook to mark all your words!

Mark my words, you are going to have a lot in that separate notebook!:floorlaugh:

This judge hasn't ruled on this yet. I think this is going to happen on Tuesday.

Could someone pm me on how to look up this art work supposedly sold from JA's family? Thank you.

but how does it work for appeal if she suffered no damages? and it was already ruled on by 2 previous judges?

Well, one thing I heard defense counsel say was that he wasn't sure a Brady violation required a showing of prejudice. I don't know if that's true or not, but that was his initial response to the Judge's question about what harm the defense sustained due to the initial failure to produce the text messages.

I finally had time to watch the whole memorial video for Travis. Man, it really invokes so many emotions. At one point my eyes were watery with tears looking at a young child with such a horrible ending awaiting him. At many points I couldn't help but smile at all of the fun he was having, at how many people seemed to love him, at the wonderful things he had to say. And in the end I felt real hate for Jodi because she took this amazing person out of this world. I hate her.

Does anyone know the name of the first song on that video? I really liked it and would love to have it on mp3 to remember Travis and that he lived.

I felt those same things and really like that song also.

There was blood spatter in the neck area because decomp gasses were escaping through the neck wound, bubbling and spattering. The first detective or police officer on the scene noticed that. The rest of his body was clean, and given the amount of blood that he shed, it is clear he was washed or rinsed off.

Does the public have access to the list of Defense witnesses/evidence etc. or is that a Florida thing? Thanks

If you're not familiar, check out the film "Dear Zachary" with a female killer VERY much like Jodi Arias who demonstrates just how dangerous they can be if not detained and sequestered in prison. Shirley Turner also drove hundreds of miles to kill the man who'd rejected her. And because she wasn't incarcerated, she just continued the carnage later. Sad sad story. (posted about this on another thread but the similarities are striking in these killers...even the soft voiced demeanor and bald faced lies)

katiecoolady - that is a sad case, and one I'm familiar with being north of the border. That woman never should have been out on bail and able to skip the country to Canada, and NEVER should have been in custody of a 1 year old child. I was embarrassed at our Social Services system and how they failed this little boy. Why did the extradition take so long? And why was nobody looking out for Zachary who was in the care of an accused murderer (and likely an unstable person)?

For another sad case that is right on my doorstep, google Phoenix Sinclair. That is another case of our support services failing a small child who needed protection.

O/T and please mods delete this link if it's not allowed (it's CBC Canada), but here is the story about Zachary for anyone who is interested. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/newfoundland-labrador/story/2006/10/04/turner-report.html.

God bless the little children, and watch over them. :please:
